What do you like best about the product?
The best part about tableau is that it allows user to play around with different matrix , which helps in market analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sync time is bit delayed , integration with other tools may sometime result in wring data

It is one stop solution for , when analysing market , it also makes planning effectively, and alsi helps in taking vital decisions

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau desktop helps me pull data and insights from my organization in real-time. It enables me to be more informed and share insights and information with clients and internally with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau can be very slow to load and often times when you refresh the page, you lose all of the data tableau is showing which makes you have to start over and pull the data again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau enables me to determine how much our clients are spending on our products and share that insight with them. Proving clients with this information engages them and makes them more likely to take a call with me.

Tableau helps to give us the most complex data in the very simplest visual form and helps in decision-making more effectively & efficiently.
Tableau can be linked with SAP, which fetches all the data and gives us the required results by filtering the required fields, which makes life easier.

Tableau doesn't provide to freeze the format and need to select the filters again and again which makes it more time-consuming and can be out of a mistake.

Tableau helps in extracting reports with a required selection of fields and data & helps in visualization of the same in the most understanding way.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is amongst the most valuable tools available to us. Tableau is the only application that allows me to collect such a large and complicated amount of data. Almost every day, I utilize Tableau to get information about my accounts. It allows me to select the period from which I want the information to originate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints regarding the Tableau desktop. Technology might be sluggish sometimes, but that's not a problem because it allows us to do much for our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau Desktop is our primary application to create reports and dashboards for our study. It is faster and simpler than many other methods, and when integrated with Tableau Server, we can efficiently distribute reports with the appropriate permissions.

I love how I can just immediately check everything so conveniently. I appreciate the filters very much

the UX could be a bit more user-friendly. also, I hope the data can be downloaded in a certain way, because it only generally gives a downloadable data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it's solving is the complication of the data especially if the data is multi-faceted. With Tableau, you can easily filter the data and filter the place you need it from. So it is easier to use and maneuver.

Tableau is an Excellent Software to Automate the Data input, Run Analysis, Create Presentations, Story builder, etc.
Tableau is good for large teams. Not for startups
What do you like best about the product?
You can do both ETL and visualization in the same tool. It helps you connect to all kinds of data sources. Gives you capability to include python scripts within the data pipeline
What do you dislike about the product?
You would need to use the desktop client to do anything complex. The web tool is not that competent in visualization. The ETL pipeline can be very slow sometimes, there is no caching feature while triaging one node to another. This makes it quite inconvenient. There is no caching in workbooks as well, sometimes it takes lot of time to triage a simple report or data pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would not recommend the tableau desktop unless you have a somewhat large data analytics team. It is not convenient for one man army teams.

The only minor dislike is that it is time consuming when downloading large sets of data.

I use it to be able to handle large amounts of data when they are intuitively represented in presentations.

Extremely time-consuming and difficult to learn. UI isn't the greatest. Salesforce connection should be a LOT better, considering Salesforce OWNS Tableau.
