Good tool for data visualisation and analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with python by which you can automate the visualisation.
Drag and drop options make it very easy to use.
Connected with multiple type of server is very good feature.
Data refresh from server is very easy beacuse tableau automatically do it.

What do you dislike about the product?
The query part, tableau have their own syntax for query which make it little bit complicated.
After drag and drop tableau does not able to adjust all graphs you should do it manually.

Its helps to analysis the data by using different types of graphs.
We can modify the data accordingly e.g. we can change currency,time-zone,number format.

What do you like best about the product?
The flawless connectivity and the most accurate data fetched from numerous sources with in few seconds makes it the numerous uno software in today's era.The data fetched is also considered to be golden source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't find anything which I disliked. But yeah sometimes, during peak periods,the data fetched gives weird numbers since the backend jobs are running meanwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When dealing with multiple clients, the monthly reports needs to be flawless and accurate so that the most reliable data can be sent to customers. Business performance has increased manifolds.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about tableau is its capabilities. The tools pack so many features to dissect your data and create and experiment with different types of visualization. All in all, it'll allow you to create reports and dashboards with data that is beneficial not only to you but your entire organization
What do you dislike about the product?
First and foremost, it would be the price. This tool is freakishly expensive and if you are very small startup or organization, there are high chances you'll not be able to afford it. Except the price point, there are few things that tableau desktop could improve. First is, they do not have a great alerting system in the reports, next dashboard sharing with team members isn't that straightforward and finally the differentiating of tableau desktop and tableau server can sometimes become very confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps us with data analytics and visualization by creating different reports and dashboards that the entire team can follow. It has benefited us immensely as the entire business and product team starts their day by looking at dashboards created in tableau to understand if something has broken in the product or if any manual intervention is needed

Data from multiple sources and systems can be easily extracted and manipulated to create meaningful reports and dashboards with minimal training and experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process can be pretty time-consuming initially. The licensing cost is also expensive when you have many users compared to other platforms. Customer support could also be better in response times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiencies have improved as we can create timely reports and dashboards which can be easily shared with multiple users. Managing large amounts of data and reporting to management based on that data in a timely manner has allowed decisions to be made very quickly.

There are lots of powerful tools and visualization types. Powerful analysis tools. Love that they have free Tableau Public.

Some parts of Tableau are not very intuitive. Can be very expensive for companies.

It is helpful in that it incorporates both data analysis and presentation at the same time. It can access data from files on hard drive or a server. It is one of the best analysis and presentation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, I did not find anything that I disliked or least helpful until now. I have no specific suggestions on what to improve until now. I have found it to be beneficial.

Tableau is helping me in creating dynamic and attractive visuals for presentations. It has increased my productivity and performance in creating visuals for presentation and reports.

Streaming services and data definitions were an issue for business users and required look up from primary sources.

What do you like best about the product?
How beautiful the look of the presentation and analysis is. The analysis can get very deep as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you just have the desktop version, it is hard to disseminate the information on the dashboard. The PPT downlods do not come thro as well. Wish theere was a link to share it.

It is excellent to do crosstabs on the fly as you are presenting. The dynamic nature of the analysis is fantastic

I used Tableau for the Data collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business information. Tableau helps me perform data analysis, data manipulation, and visualization to make sense of business data and draw insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is more expensive, whereas the pro version of Tableau comes at more than $35 per month per user. The yearly subscription costs around $1000. Tableau Creator costs around $70/ month, while Tableau Viewer is priced at $12/month. If you are a startup or a small business, you can opt for Power BI and upgrade to Tableau if the need arises.
