Tableau is a data analytics tools which helps to analyse data and create insightful dashboards and reports. It helps business to make decisions.
In tableau, we can create reports, dashboards. The visualizations are very eye catchy and visibly very good.
Data blending is also possible that can extract data from difference data sources and blend them easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
First thing is the cost is high compared to other data analytics tools.
Tableau desktop fre version is only accessible for 14 days. But there is tableau public which free to use. For beginners, they practice in tableau public but the features and benefits are limited.

We can create interactive visualizations and it can easily handle large amount of data.
It is mobile supportive and creates responsive dashboards. Ease of use and gives high performance.

Easy consolidation of lots of data. Interactive and linked visuals to help drill down in data

Steep learning curve. Very expensive license costs

consolidated place for all company data - keeps me from having to chase down multiple data sources

Difficult to learn to use if you learn to use it by yourself.

Allows a very efficient data visualization. The creation of a complete dashboard with a beautiful design is very fast.

It doesn't update as often as I would like to see live time data- it updates around 3 times a day

Best data visualization tool, Can create interactive dashboards, Filter and drill down options are great, Integration with multiple data sources, works best on live incoming data. Can cater huge sales reporting data in Integration with SAP, easy to extract Tableau data in excel or CSV format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about Tableau, but to get license is costlier in comparison to other BI Tools.

I have thousands of rows of sales reporting data that I look through on daily basis, it helps me to run specific patterns for the filter data, and I can prepare reports and send to senior management within short period.

it is uniquely customizable, analytics are more than client centric and thoughtfully prepared for pro-business situations, advanced features keep the team and requirements best in place

not having real time data tracker is a big step not forward and sometimes this challenges in keeping track of decision making, taking actions on time and implementing strategies

making sales forecast across regions making business strategies more market centric and of real time, customization of the analytical features make account management more conducive in conatct , key account mamagement etc thus making this one of the best sales intelligence options
A great, nifty product to analyse data!
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a brilliant product to delve deep into data and set up results in a visually appealing way, especially for those who are visual learners. You can create reports, detailed dashboards in a pretty easy and timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're working with large amounts of data (I work for a company of 10k+ employees and handle the data), it can be a little on the slow side to collate. Getting your head around how Tableau works when you're new to it can be a little tricky too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collate, analyse and sort data of all sorts in one space is brilliant. I feel the productivity of the business has improved as we can not easily pinpoint areas of improvement, areas of strength & areas to focus on relatively easily with Tableau.
