Great for visualizations . Has really helped enhance the insights process

What do you like best about the product?
I like the endless ways to organize and display data. The program has a wider variety of graphs and charts than Excel, and they fit nicely into presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program is not immediately intuitive to use, and custom fields are programmed differently from Excel. This makes it more difficult for users well versed into Excel to learn to use Tableau. It is also fairly difficult to troubleshoot if you do not achieve the intended result right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have a quick and easy report to use to present to my Sales team. It doesn't take long to update and shows a wide range of data.

I like that Tableau work with fórmulas as I work with Excel to do reports.

I dislike the capacity to connect with different data sources to do cubes.

The problem that I solve is have the reports everyday and with updated and complete information without do them other time.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is useful for prebuilt reporting you'll reference regularly. We use it to understand product adoption, churn rates, graduation rates, etc. for these types of heavy reports with lots of data we're able to have our bi team build a tableau report and that makes it easy to track our progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau isn't always intuitive especially for an new user. For example, creating a new report is not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a key reporting tool to track business level metrics.

Great tool if you have use cases for why you're implementing it.

I like that Tableau is a visual dashboard with a lot of various reports that can be utilized to tell a story with your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation of the dashboard comes with time, so setting up training is a good idea.

Tableau makes it easy to view and sort through data, saving time to get to results!

Tableau is very simple to use and it's easy to customize my reports.

I don't like that Tableau frequently crashes and will crash for a long period of time.

The only business issue, would be when the system crashes. Benefits would be that when it's working its quick and extremely resourceful.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau takes my complex data and makes it easy to review for people who hate looking at numbers. It visualizes thousands of rows of data seamlessly and quickly. It is highly customizable with formatting options and easy to use color selections. There is also a great online community for help

Product and tutorial support online. Really easy to use and learn on your own -user friendly. Can easily shar and publish reports for others in the company to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as easy to manipulate reporting.Very coding heavy and must have some prior experience with understanding coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently only using the personal version-company has not decided to purchase server capability to fully utilize the power of the tool.
