Highly customizable, powerful product!
What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic tool for visualizations that can be shared easily! I love the ability to dynamically update data and drill down to whatever level you want!
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau Prep is horrible. Make it browser based so it doesn't suck up your RAM

What do you like best about the product?
- Has support for almost all the data source connectors like SnowFlake, Redshift and even supports csv for creating visualizations
- Easily able to handle large data sets at quite a fast pace
- Suggests relevant and insightful visuals based on the data layer provided
- Real time data is handled quite efficiently

What do you dislike about the product?
- Nothing as particular to dislike about Tableau. Only one issue is that it becomes often laggy while doing calculations in the dashboard. Also, the overall UI can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau has helped me and my team solve all the business intelligence and visualization problems at a single source. It has enabled me to provide insights to the entire organization with them requiring very minimal effort. I have been able to schedule daily email reports via Tableau for updates to my organization. It has helped me get all the cross-product ongoings with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
Customizations are designed to simplify the analyst's tasks in providing accurate and fruitful analysis of business progress, identifying underlying opportunities in providing strategies to execute overall team and consumer success.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be a little overwhelming at times due to the fact that this CRM is the leader in this field. In cases/reports that have been opened for a long time, critical attachments may have been lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can help creating fruitful analysis like extracting accurate data, different options and customized template can be used to help easily understand the data of the company.
Reporting done right
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau's main function to report what is being done is a time saver in itself. Without tableau we would be having to pull different reports from different places and peice it alltogether. this now allows up to set it up one time and then its there any time we need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
the date range is a huge issue as it only allows you to pull reports by ranges of day hour or minutes it would be nice to be able to select the date and time we would need the report from not just by time frames.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all the reports we need in one place and at our fingertips. just wish it would be easier to set up. Tableau makes my life a bit easier everyday that i need it.
Tableau Reporting and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything that I need to see can be programmed to show up in 1 place, and easily exported to an Excel sheet that can be sorted/filtered and tailored to fit my needs. This makes reviewing data so much easier for me and my team. The data could be placed all on one page, and in different groups which is even more helpful and much more convenient than having to go through multiple reports to find what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that I dislike about Tableau is how slow the servers can be. Sometimes the website lags and the reporting could be delayed up to 5mins+. This could be very frustrating when you are trying to quickly identify issues, and come up with a solution when you have problems, but rely on the reporting to show you what the potential problem could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
right now Tableau is solving the problem of having to sort through multiple reports from different sources to track and analyze data that is used to gauge performance and identify areas of improvement, along with any potential issues that require an immediate solution.
Tableau - High Expectations But Poor Results
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has very user firendly interface and great visualization capabilities. This tool is great for an organization who has their processes in place and have multiple data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool takes a lot of while to build even a simple dashboard with quick filters. Regardless of the tool being scalable and having lot of visualization features, it is very time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps our org to central data visualization from multiple sources p be it Snowflake, platform data. It helps is to present data in a much more organized way and with visuals.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a fantastic tool for drawing conclusions and understading a large sets of data. The visuals that include pie chartsm word charts are amazing. I love the drag-and-drop tool that is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the report was created by someone else, it can be difficult to debug. Interface can be slow when you combine many datasets or using a very large data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to work with big data faster and easier. We were able to present the data to our executives in a concise manner. It allows us to look at the business trends quickly so we can make critical business decisions quicker.
