best for marketing people
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, it is very easy to draw simple but fancy colorful graphs for your businesses. If you work for the marketing or sales department, I definitely recommend this programme.
What do you dislike about the product?
The instructions are sometimes not clear enough especially when you want to have a complex table with comparisons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have compared sales facts of 2 regions and I showed them in one table. It was so helpful when I was doing my presentation.

Fairly easy to use and provides nice dashboards.

You still have to do a lot of data cleaning and set up.

Ability to share data with people who are not "data people" in a format they can understand

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is currently an emerging BI Tool which has proved its incredible functionality for visualizations and analytics area of the BI platform. It is easily approachable and can be quickly adapted by users belonging to any domain with little to no knowledge on other reporting platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have ETL capability and since many companies have been recently using tableau, its flaws are yet to be discovered. It may not be confirmed that this tool is super scalable in terms of reliability and flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently using Tableau for building visualizations so that users from different teams including end users can utilize the tool for doing analytics for making better informed business decisions.

Tableau Desktop can be used to develop/build appealing reports and visualizations for data analytics. Users can easily use them and modify according to their needs.

It is very much compatible with all the databases to it will help me to perform various business use cases in dashboards plus I can perform forecast on my data with out much coding.

If you can re think about the pricing of the licence then it would be a great market capturing moment for Tableau

I like the way it interacts with a user.Anyone can use it without training.It can connect to multiple sources of data.

It is difficult to use with large database.

It can interpret trends, analysis in data ,simplifies the complex with visuals and give the best geotagging as well

Data can be easily filtered and organised into different sets, cohorts of users can be tracked and trends can be gathered.

There aren't any features that seem to be missing or that I dislike at the moment

Ease of use to generate tableau dashboards for various purposes of tracking which helps in solving various business problems. Love the drag and drop feature.You can also filter based on various parameters which is pretty cool and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
With lots of data, it becomes way too slow. They should use some advanced parallel processing algorithms to refine faster. It should also have multi choice and then filter functionality as opposed to choosing one and starting the filtering.

We use tableau server for tracking out of SLA bugs per manager / director / etc.

It is one of the best data visualization tools and really very widely used nowadays. So if you haven't tried it, please do so!

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a new software to me and my agency. It has been very helpful to visualize and conceptualize the plethora of data we collect in the healthcare field. It also helps to achieve transparency with our consumers and community members about the work we are doing and what the data shows.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times we encounter issues extracting our data from our MIS and getting it into the correct form to import into Tableau Server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are bringing data to the layperson and allowing it to be visualized in a coherent and easy to follow manner.

Tableau is easy to use and has many features so it’s possiblr to create new visual aids with what’s given.

Too many software updates! Every couple weeks there would be a software update. Hard to keep track of.
