Great data visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to visualize data in a way that is very easy to understand and easy to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some getting used to when you're a new user

Understanding program level p&ls, as well as pipeline data

Tableau makes everything easier
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is such a great add on to Salesforce as it allows for so much more customization and dives into the data in a way that isn't available to the native salesforce reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to imbed tableau reporting into Salesforce pages is available but it is somewhat clunky and relies on more extracted data instead of being a live connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau allows for the more complete and extensive reporting that our business needs and makes it so we can pull so much data together and really dive deep into it.

Visualization is great. Data modeling is made simple and easy

Having different ways to do a particular task.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility tableau offers. I mean i could a create map and tell stories with data and be able to share the very same graph to my team and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike that fact it was seperate from core salesforce, but with new integration with the core platform like the iron viz makes more easier to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have two differnet products just to access the our business data salesforce and our business Analytics but given tableau is tightly integrate with salesforce we dont need more products and our data is kept secure.

Building clear and concise dashboards, building out detailed tooltips and drilldowns

Out of the box templates, some limitations in ETL steps

Pooling multiple data sources, providing multiple levels of detail

What do you like best about the product?
I love the sheer flexibility Tableau allows. Have been using for over 5 years now and the evolution has been tremendous. There is no other tool in my opinion that allows users to create complex visualizations the way Tableau does.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things to improve would be performance related especially with Custom SQL and more simple options for table formatting. The current options to format tables are very complicated and need a lot of work-arounds.

1) Solve business problems using visualizations.
2) Build dashboards for the business users to track their KPIs.
3) Save time automating reporting and have a unified view across multiple sales, marketing teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Is perfect to organize the data and find opportunities in the bussiness, splitting the segments of the company and finding trend in the data, duplicating the "good" patterns to continue that improvement, and changing the "bad" patterns to correct that we are not doing well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connection between Tableau desktop and Tableau Cloud sometimes takes too much or it simply doesn't work

Simplify the data, organizing it in a most user friendly way, that everyone with zero experience with data and numbers, could understand in the easiest possible ways the insights that the data could bring us
