Powerful Visual BI
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau enables to develop dashboards, and different types of data visualization, from multiple data sources. You can get it from excels, databases, websites, among others.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that are more complicated than they should. You have to be very careful with the data preparation for you to get the proper results you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide access to visuals to anyone who requires it. Dashboards, graphs and tables more insightful and more eye catching.
Handy tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau desktop is simple and easy to navigate. The interface is user friendly and it has appealing dashboards. It is known for its remarkable visual image capabilities. The drag and drop feature is great and could be utilize to create graphs and other diagrams within minutes. Its overall performance is secure and reliable. The mobile app is well designed and enables its users to have their statistics at their fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive and the pricing plans are not flexible. Despite of being easy, it has a steep learning curve. Once the training is done, it will do wonders for you with your visual work. The BI capabilities could use a little improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is good for large sized organisations with sufficient funding in data visualizations as tonnes of data could be handled within minutes and analyse through graphs and statistics. For small to medium sized organizations, it might prove to be expensive.
Rich and quick Visualizations
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has been a game changer in BI landscape since last few years. It can create reports on the fly within minutes with rich and elegant user interface along with the dashboards as well.
The thing I like most is the variety of the input data sources that tableau allows. There are about at least 50 data sources to choose from. Tableau has so many types of charts that it can represent almost any kind of data. There are lot more customizations to make own type of chart.
Tableau is exceptionally easy to pickup and has a gentle learning curve. One can easily watch few YouTube videos to get started. Although to master it you need to have deep knowledge. It is like easy to learn and hard to master. Also

There are not much options to write the data back to database.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing data of about 100 thousand rows and tableau is pretty fast in doing it with such a large dataset. We were able to discover lot many hidden patterns in our dataset because of variety of charts.

I've been using this tool for three years. It always caught my attention on how simple and easy it is to use. It is very useful for those people who do not want to go through so much code to visually display some kind of information.

What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, Tableau suffers from not being able to create table-type visualizations that the normal user would expect. In addition, it is very difficult for certain users to have highly customized visualizations, such as, for example, with colored headers, or several icons or shapes within a table, something that any other tool can do in a simpler way. I don't like Tableau being very simple and not being able to do those kinds of things.

Basically in my work as a Business Intelligence Analyst, we focus on providing solutions from a lot of information we receive.
Tableau helps us create visualizations and dashboards that the end-user will use and from which to make important decisions for a company's future.
In addition, tableau helps us to know quickly the information we have, it can be connected to many sources and that has many advantages.

What do you like best about the product?
Whatever way you need to look at, compare, segment or analyze your data, Tableau can probably make it happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would be easier to access single customers from a segmented group to compare them, and get more insight into their purchasing behavior. But that might be the way the software is set up for us, not the software itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can more easily keep track of our campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness and ROI.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend to take the time and have a training on how to use it for everyone who will work with the software. It is intuitive, but if not walked through properly, the team might miss out on functions that they are not aware of.

It can handle a number of api's and file types which makes it a very versatile tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like to call Tableau the Excel of data visualization. It can do just about anything and everything you want, but it can be clunky at times compared to newer solutions on the market.

Synthesizing our data reporting and insights that is then sent over to a variety of teams.

It is an excellent software for creating visual dashboards. With the drop and drag features of Tableau, the user can create a very interactive visual within minutes. It has a user-friendly interface which can handles large amounts of data. It is easy to use that with some basic training, that even non-analytical people can make the use of it. The mobile application of Tableau is very well designed and intuitive, that allows its users to keep their statistics on the fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite overpriced, and the pricing plans are not very flexible. When importing large amounts of data, the system lags and sometimes freezes. It does not facilitate with data cleaning which I think is very necessary, an additional support is required to get it done.

Overall it is the best software for creating appealing and informative data visualizations. It is best for the large organizations as it can deal with enormous amount of data within minutes.

The only issue that I dislike is that if it is not adminestered regurarly, it could turn into a chaos, because different end-users can add accounts/comments/cases following different logics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Einstein was used as the main base for CRM activities. All the statuses on the clients and clients' documentation were updated there. Besides from CRM specialists this system was used by operating departments to get information on the signed documentation and authorized contacts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Salesforce Einstein for CRM purposes, as it is quite easy and convenient tool to use

Occasional excessive notifications through other applications.
