Tableau - Analytics at it's Best
What do you like best about the product?
Best thing about tableau is the Data analysation is very fast. The Raw Data format can be changed into very good Insight and predict the Future of the Company without having the good knowledge of Coding.Tableau can also provide real time analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Comparing to Power BI , tableau doesn't offer free version to use. Tableau is way behind for giving predictive and reporting modelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Company looks at the sales of Data for different category of Chocolates sales around the world at store and Region level. Tableau helps us to give the insight of chocolates which has decline or surge around the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau has been in the marketing since 2001 and still within the market the amount of user using the tableau is more than the other reporting tool. So, I would recommend to Use Tableau as it provide edge over other Reporting tool due to Presences tableau have within the Market.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using tableau for almost 5 years now and this tool has been the best for preparing reports, dashboards for all sorts of data. The interface is amazing and it's very easy to use. You can connect to multiple data sources like SQL, SAP HANA, etc. There are many good features like scheduling your report, getting notification, report sharing options, etc. We can view the report and dashboard on mobile which is one of the most used features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes lot of time to process the data. We need proper training to operate the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of this tool, we were able to prepare the dashboards and reports in the most representable way and efficiently. This tool is amazing to understand the growth of the company and take appropriate steps to increase the revenue of the company. This is one of the best alternatives to excel.

We have to pay upfront to get the licenses unlike other products which have a pay as you use option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently working with an insurance company and the use of tableau for reporting makes it easy to take business decisions for the clients.
The major benefit is the data can be visualized in any way possible.

Nothing as of now. Whatever setup, features have been used all have been helpful.

The best features of Tableau are the ability to create dynamic, engaging data visualizations. The software itself is easy to use and end users can easily understand the data better.

Connection ability to other data/software can be limited.

Our organization needed a way to visualize our survey data in a way that shows trends and can help discover inequalities or areas of interest. For this purpose, tableau has served as a useful tool. The ability to conceptualize large data sets has been invaluable, particularly when it comes to mapping data.

I feel like the UI can be tailored to be more user friendly. I believe it's currently tailored to be more industry professional-centric

Tableau seems daunting at first, but using the extensive training documentation, you quickly pick up the basics, and you can start visualizing and analyzing your critical business data. Strongly recommended, no matter the size of your company or industry type

as usual with Salesforce, the training and support resources are the WORST. if you want to go back to school full time then you will get the full capabilities, or you can double your budget and hire the experience

education on how to use the tool is the greatest problem. once we get reports they are very helpful, but it is a painful journey since we are new to the platform.

make sure you have staff that can learn or is already trained ... this is not for a beginner

I like the intuitive nature of the reporting and dashboard capabilities. I was able to self teach everything that I know and can create robust reporting using out of the box capabilities.

Sometimes the system can run quite slow.

Using the system to provide business line of sight to all performance in sales force at all levels.
