Tableau makes me look like a rockstar at presenting insights without spending hours .

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is faster and is super intuitive for creating stunning visualizations in rapid time. Easy to make customizable dashboards, and I love how fast I can connect to data sources like Excel, SQL, or even cloud platforms, and start exploring trends in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is more for an experienced analyst or BI developer. It falls littlebit behind Power BI when it comes to interface, and integration. However, it's still very powerful visualization tool, and high in demand for different jobs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me extensively at many times to transform messy data into clear insights.

Amazing Product for Data visualisation

What do you like best about the product?
I love Tableau’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface, stunning visualizations, and powerful data storytelling. Its seamless connectivity with multiple data sources and interactive dashboards make complex analytics accessible to everyone—no coding needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tableau is powerful, its high cost can be prohibitive for small teams. Performance slows with large datasets, and advanced customization often requires workarounds. The steep learning curve for complex features can also frustrate new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau solves the challenge of turning complex data into clear, actionable insights through intuitive visualizations. It benefits me by enabling faster decision-making, uncovering hidden trends, and presenting data in a compelling way—all without advanced coding skills.

Great for visuals, but takes a minute to get used to but resource intensive

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Tableau is how easy it is to create beautiful, interactive dashboards once you're comfortable with the tool. It handles large datasets well, and the visual customization options are awesome. I love how it lets you bring data to life — makes it easier to explain insights to non-technical folks. Drag-and-drop interface is super helpful for quick analysis too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and learning curve can be a bit painful, especially if you're coming from Excel or Google Sheets. Some of the formulas and calculated fields feel unintuitive at first. Also, publishing dashboards and managing permissions can get confusing. It would be great if the user interface was a bit more beginner-friendly. Pricing is on the higher side too for small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps turn messy, raw data into clear, visual insights. Instead of digging through spreadsheets or running SQL queries every time, I can just build a dashboard and track metrics in real-time. It saves a ton of time, especially when I need to explain trends or performance to people who aren’t into data. Also helps a lot with spotting patterns we’d otherwise miss.

Great Tool for Daily Reporting and Data Visualization

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Tableau daily in my role on the marketing and analytics team. It helps us create dashboards to track campaign performance, user behavior, and business KPIs. Tableau makes it easy to connect to different data sources like Google Sheets, Snowflake, and Salesforce. I like how you can just drag and drop to build charts, but also do deeper analysis using filters, calculated fields, and level of detail expressions when needed.

Implementation was smooth and handled by our internal team. It didn’t take long to connect our main data sources and start building reports. The platform is easy to use once you get used to it, and it’s great for sharing dashboards across teams.

Tableau also helps our stakeholders explore the data on their own, so the analytics team doesn’t have to answer every small request. That saves us a lot of time and improves decision making.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are hard for new users to understand at first, especially advanced calculations. Dashboards can get slow if you're working with large datasets, so we sometimes have to optimize them or use extracts. Also, Tableau can be expensive if you need a lot of people to have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps us bring data from different sources into one place so we can track performance and share insights easily. It replaced manual reporting in spreadsheets and made our reporting process faster and more reliable. It also helps teams make better decisions because they can see the data clearly and in real time.

Nothing. This tools has given me my dream life in term of financial growth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using sql you may have to check the row level data and if it's coming correctly or not. It may be tiring doing it in SQL. But Tableau helps you to check the row level data easily.
You can also clean the data using Tableau prep which is very useful if one don't know good sql.

We have connected it with live student action (our internal function) data. It is perfectly able to manage, create and help to monitor the data flow and its interpretation. We are monitoring and generating reports on a regular basis using Tableau.
