Perfect (or as close as you can get) Project Workflow Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Provides the best visual map of the software we considered. We needed something that allowed us to track projects in our Robotics Process Automation Dept. We didn't want an IT specific tool, but something that was a little more visually appealing. Additionally, we didn't have a large budget. Monday.com fit the bill for all of these. In addition, the automations and integrations that the system provides was perfect, allowing us to spend time upfront instead of during each project contacting business users for reviews, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the system offers quite a bit, it's apparent, upon getting in and using Monday.com that they are still new to the game and have a lot of features that they are still developing. The automations/integrations, while powerful and extremely helpful, still are limited in how we would hope to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Monday.com to organize and track our robotics process automations department across various functional departments in the organization. The ability to add/change/update/track projects has greatly improved.
The right platform for dynamic cross-collaborative tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Everything feels so easy with Monday-- there's no excessive clicking, no excessive ways to log things, easy duplications and bulk updates. It just feels RIGHT. There are lots of platforms I've used in the past and this one just feels natural.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't disliked anything yet-- would be nice to have some sort of tie in to Garfield the cat who HATES mondays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-collaborative views that are not overwhelming. Scrum management that feels like projects and not one-offs by how it's represented and organized.
Amazing Task Management App
What do you like best about the product?
Monday also comes with a phone app so you can update your boards from anywhere. It’s also easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could be a little smarter. When you duplicate a board you should be able to decide to keep certain pulses and remove others instead of all or nothing. I also wish the text box would include more vertical space instead of being cut off horizontally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization- it’s helped keep track of projects and you can keep all information in one place. The boards are much simpler than excel and google sheets and users can all log in on their own accounts and access the same boards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple task spreadsheets and boards, switch to Monday where everything is in one place. You can even create private boards for certain users and public ones for all.
Nice customization options, but buggy.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that monday com allows you to create a ton of different views and columns to match everyones workflows. Automatons are also pretty great. The software is generally easy to use, which is a plus
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of bugs i've encountered during the first week and i assume there are more to come. I also dont like they you have to use dashboard to keep track of YOUR activities, and dashboards have less functionality than boards. Generally i feel that monday team had idea to make users click 5 times instead of 1 and considering this is a software our team might use every day, it kind of holds me of from using it. Other stuff:
- no default view for inbox - 1 extra click
- cannot create new task by clicking the timeline
- not showing entire list of assignees when creating a task, not only first 3 - more clicks
- Mandatory fields when creating task - ???
- Delete grey group ("rejected" by default) of tasks in canban
- Color coding on timeline (dashboards) random?
- Dependency - drag and drop on the timeline, wrike-like - you have to manually type task name to create dependency - more clicks
- No kanban for dashboard - not sure why this is missing
- Cannot Change the order of the groups on my dashboard
- Cannot change the order of team members on the timeline
- Make widgets full srceen on screen with 2k resolution
- No default view for the board
- Desktop notifications dont work on the mac
- BUG when saving an assignee filter on the dashaboard
- Have all menu items open (boards and dashboards)- more clicking
- Move Dashboards up - why they have to be at the bottom? And as soon as you click dashboard - they move up. What kind of UX is that?
- No task templates - this is obviously "i wish it was there", but using boards doesnt work us since boards live in separate spaces

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily routine of the marketing team
Possibly Too Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
It has potential with it's customization to be a good hub for organization. It seems fairly modern and similar in ways to programs like Excel and Word. It has features that different departments would utilize to fit their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be too customizable. It has a lot you can do without much limitation which could lead to over-thinking and over complicating things that it's supposed to be simplifying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being used to organize projects and tasks to ensure everyone knows what is whose responsibility. Also used for supervisors to track subordinates in their tasks, projects, and event planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't overthing the layout.
Monday.com - the in depth checklist
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about monday.com is the ability to create separate boards for team members and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little clunky and a bit counter intuitive. It's also not as customizable as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep track of our teams tasks, completed and upcoming. Which is so much better than trying to remember or write everything down.
Monday.Com Rocks
What do you like best about the product?
The constant remainders is a great feature. Also being bale to sync it to other apps is great. Helps you keep track of your to-do list. I don't have to worry about falling behind. It's as if google calendar, slack, and trello had a baby together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. It just takes a bit of time learning how to use it. But there are tutorials on how to use the software and an interactive training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I fall less behind on things. Also I don't forget to do what needs to be done.
Better for large teams
What do you like best about the product?
Colorful, easy to use interface. Good for large teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't use all the features included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps track individual progress on team projects.
Monday.com- Organization Reboot
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize tasks from data sets to project management makes use of this software very easy. I am able to keep track of projects and employment details such as onboarding tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does take a bit of getting used to and has some limitations. Have to build out automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding tracking, new hire tracking and project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know what you want to use the system for. Monday allows us to collaborate on a variety of projects and stay on top of those minor tasks. It is easy to remember milestones, but Monday allows us to track the minor tasks that create the completion of those milestones.
Monday.com - A great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a very intuitive tool which allows easy monitoring and updating of work projects. It looks clean and is clean and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a lot of boards on the go it can be a bit overwhelming to manage them but this is probably just more reflective of a heavy workload being stressful rather than the tool itself having any major shortcomings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heavy workloads are made somewhat lighter and easier to at least keep track of with Monday.com
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Monday.com to anyone looking for a great workflow management tool
