Project / Software / Network Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to customize how each board is used. For example, you can automate scheduled tasks like emailing or moving to another group or board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly do not dislike anything with Monday at this time. We've been using it for awhile and enjoy it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to use Trello for tracking tasks (network scheduled events, software projects, administrative work). Which worked fine except adding on customers. Now we can share onboarding boards with customers so they can see the progress.

It's worth it
My new best friend is Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I'm able to customize everything according to what my team needs. I can easily add/remove columns, color code, and assign items, as well as keep track of time elapsed on our projects. Not to mention, I can even use it on the go, because the app is just as functional as the desktop version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't too crazy about the emails at first, but I think now that we've been using it for a while I don't see those as much anymore. My email filters according to relevance. Now, it's simply nice to know when someone has completed something, so that way I can move on to the next step of the process and get our team working faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning how to delegate tasks and assign according to priority. Our agency has been working from home, and Monday has been extremely helpful in showing who is working on what. I've realized that it's solved the communication errors as well.
Very flexible software.
What do you like best about the product?
There is a solution for just about every problem in project management on monday.com, and the customer support team is excellent at helping find the right methods of data tracking to meet your specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that monday.com is lacking in that it doesn't have gantt chart capabilities, but they have recently added them. You'll get out of it what you put into it, where you find deficiencies, the monday.com team is quick to help provide a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday.com for construction project management, it helps track our construction document development, BIM model review and approval, RFIs, CORs, everything... It helps prioritize tasks when you have 100 things happening at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll get out of it what you put into it, there is a solution for nearly every problem in project management on monday.com.
Very positive experience overall. There are a few bugs still, but I'm sure they will fix it soon.

When changes are made via mobile phone, they are not saved if the phone is not connected to the internet at that very time.
Also, new items are duplicated as soon as they are saved via phone.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. The dashboard has been helpful in Showcasing & Tracking my tasks and marking them done given you a small dose gratification(s) when you generally deal with really long timelines.
Pricey but worth it
What do you like best about the product?
It has essentially gamified my to-do list. It's easy to see, at a glance, what needs to be done. Staff members can tag one another in items to inform others of progress or ask for help and conversation regarding each task is easily tucked into the notes for that task. It's neat and tidy and aesthetically pleasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Payment is per member, but that increases in increments of 5. I have 7 staff members but I must pay the same as if I have 10. It's quite expensive as it is, so this is a niggle that I think should be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delegating tasks to team members is much easier now. We can keep track of what needs to be done and by when. We were using the free version of Trello prior to moving to Monday.com, and found it ideal for individuals, but not suitable for collaborations among team members. Monday.com facilitates communication so staying up-to-date is much easier, and it's possible to make part or all of a Monday/com board private to protect sensitive data.
Amazing! Helped us stay organized during a merger with 10k team members!
What do you like best about the product?
We tried other products like VersionOne, Wrike and Smartsheet, but monday.com was the clear winner for us.
The flexibility of what you can do, integrations and automations. Visual and interactive dashboards. The constant enhancements and updates they have pushed out in the last 10 months we've been using it, just continues to make us love it even more. We have used this to stay on track of tasks, projects and products as we merged two banking institutions with 10k team members. That's a lot changes to systems, org charts, departments, and monday.com got us through it all.
We had resistance at first, because we had a lot of team members that did everything on Excel. But when they realized they could import and export Excel files that paved the way for them. Not they prefer monday.com overwhelmingly.

What do you dislike about the product?
This is really difficult, because we haven't really had many problems with it. The main challenge is simply getting others to let go of using Excel, and being open to a more transparent way of working.
There's a good amount of resources and tutorials, but monday.com puts out so many new updates it can be hard to keep with all the improvements and what it's capable of. So it's good to have some internal experts be a little more dedicated to focus on updates and inform others to make them aware of the new features.

Right now, we are using the integration with google maps to help track projects and logistics for all of our physical office locations. The ability to communicate within it and the new integration with MS Teams has been super helpful.
The biggest thing is who adaptable monday.com is, because we are working on becoming an Agile organization and monday.com can move, change, be customized as we grow in that journey! Nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It simply evolves with us.

Great for scaling up teams
What do you like best about the product?
Simple design that's easy to use and effective for managing our projects. Monday has lots of hidden treats for power users like workflow automation and integrations which our teams use. There's also the ability to invite our clients into boards so we can collaborate on projects which gives both our company and our clients the ease of mind that things are progressing as they should. Communication and keeping up to date is easy with Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything! I think for our company size, (20 or so) Monday is perfect! I think for larger and more diverse teams it could start becoming a lot to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks and getting visibility across multiple projects within our team has become much easier since we've implemented Monday! Our project manager makes great use of the automation workflows to help remove the necessary but boring tasks of updating statuses and moving tasks to the next appropriate board/person, so I often don't have to think too much about managing items in Monday, it just works. The desktop app is worth downloading too as
Great tool with so many unique features for managing workflows
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things is the scheduling feature that helps me to organize our future plans in a queue. It provides notification about all the major activities going on, thus keeping me up to date. I can work on remote basis as well because of its mobile version, which is very effective. It also calculates the time for us that we spent on particular projects, so time tracking is another feature to organize our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there could be some features, available for sharing our to-do list via Email. It is indeed doing a great job, I think its cost should be reduced so that organization with small setups can take benefits out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is the most reliable and easy to use equipment, that provide me an insight view of the all tasks being carried out, and who is in charge about particular goal. I am capable of collaborating my various departments on this platform, this made easy for me to generate reporting about our business progress. Monday.com is easy to install and configure, thanks to this tool that has shown me a way towards excellence.
