What do you like best about the product?
Appmon provided great visibility into a black box of mainframe java services. instead of drilling down through 5 different set of logs, I was able to see the end to end flow that was never there. awesome tools
What do you dislike about the product?
the slow product release cycle of appmon and no clear outline of the benefit it add compare to the previous version

What do you like best about the product?
Code level analysis through the full stack. Root cause analysis and reporting features. Ability to pull server logs and correlate with issues within in a given time frame. Intuitive dashboarding. Synthetic monitoring and user session monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor annoyances that can be fixed with successive updates. Timeframe presets and sorting data issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proactive monitoring using synthetics and user session data to find a anomolies before they turn into bigger problems. Establish a flowchart of calling services and callees using service flow and backtrack.

What do you like best about the product?
From downloading to complete setup takes not more than 10 minutes even for someone not having technical knowhow of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not dislike but I would say Dynatrace should add the reporting capability with option for excel/pdf report extraction and being able to schedule/setup email distribution with the reports attached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user experience and measuring platform/application quality/performance developed by our partners.

What do you like best about the product?
Nice tool to monitor applications in production. Dynatrace is capable of adding multiple servers under same login. This gives ability to add custom Dashboards and dashlets. UEM module to give indepth insight of any transactions. Feature of local sessions in offline mode. DB Execution time and DB hit ratio is a nice feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large execution time in processing the results. Filter not available to find transactions based on a particular data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Production monitoring and root cause analysis of production bugs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very nice monitoring tool to find application issues live in production. Must for any enterprise application.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very good to track every single transaction and cpu health or anything related to system. Just configure it right and forget multiple window pain to track things

Initially difficult to setup the environment for a newbee

What do you like best about the product?
The methodical approach, tool based, easy to use. Most innovative manner to check the health of the application. Features like Database graph, memory,server behavior provides a neat approach of how the application is behaving in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes server doesn’t respond as quickly as it should. This causes a bit of trouble especially during production issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on a real time application increases the dependency on Dynatrace. Since we have multiple servers running on different environments we mostly check the heartbeat during critical production issues. Benefits are the easy structuring and organization of the tool. Very simple and user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace offers the most comprehensive environmental monitoring available today. The tool gives you a complete topology of your entire environment so you can see what's being talked about. You will be surprised what he shows you. The dashboard features are much better. Its ability to monitor the interior of containers is also unsurpassed.
Custom Desktop, Transactional Analysis, Purepaths helps you find problems from the root. The in-depth analysis capability is impressive to go deep into the question, the option to filter by transaction is the best and gives you more specific results.
What do you dislike about the product?
At Dynatrace, performance degradation issues are deviations from the set base performance that impact services and / or applications in your environment. Here is an example of a scenario with a problem that is due to a performance problem in the infrastructure layer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are obvious benefits in detecting development cycle issues early, but there are benefits that are greater than expected security threats, and multiple APIs require a single action, the ability to track license costs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very complete product, it can be used to do simple analysis or to dive deeply into processes that can cause you problems on your servers. It is a must for companies of all sizes.

My Review on Dynatrace

What do you like best about the product?
I typically use dynatrace to understand the flow from end -end.I work for credit card based company and when one of our customer is having issues with for example payment, using dynatrace I trace the request using IP address, understand at what point failure happened and find the root cause.We have dynatrace agent installed on all our servers which has different applications. Having this helps us to see what happened and where is the point of failure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like dynatrace to have support for browser to that we can find information like time taken to load a web page ...etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Dynatrace primarily to find the root cause of production issues, send alerts to phone/email whenever there is a failure. Starting from sending alerts to production support team, helping to debug issues and find the point of failure.
