perhaps too many configuration options/choices and an over abundance of features could slow down ramp-up time.

Take the time to understand all the features in the tool before determining use in your organization.
Implementation is easy and information captured is golden.

How easy it is to implement. There is no intrusive method. The information captured at all levels of a transaction flow make it easy to understand what is happening.

Requiring root access to deploy the agent.

Profiling and alerting. Deep dive analytics, helps answer what might be wrong during a transaction.

We are trying to resolve the monitoring of our monolithic application that are third party provided and except the XADATA all other usecases can be covered with Dynatrace

The code testing and life cycle from dev to prod is planned well. RCA for testing through DT will be amazing

Right now it looks promising. Will start using it and then can comment if any

Trying to integrate with testing and identify rca during testing. I think this will help in avoiding code rewriting

How easy it is to monitor the application performance, find application bottlenecks, visualise stats that wouldn’t be easily displayed all together

It is time consuming when you start working with the tool. It is sometimes difficult to have people comfortable using the tool since the do not much time to play with it. Monitoring do not come first among their priorities
