Fantastic system for reporting on another level

ability to capture data and quick reports

I can't think of anything missing from Jedox

standard reports recreated within Jedox have speeded up production time, can capture misposting's instantly improving efficiencies

You will not regret using this system - will improve your reporting functions vastly
Flexible approach to data modeling and forecast planning
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI interface for data-driven modeling is great for quickly taking a dataset and turning it into a database. The Excel interface allows me to encourage users to leverage their existing skills to create self-service reports. Plenty of integration/connectors out of the box to connect to other databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data visualizations and dashboards are very Excel like. I am finding it a bit cumbersome to quickly experiment and explore data as I would in other popular BI tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing data entry for forecasting and planning. Automating upload of data from transactional ERP databases. The biggest benefit users have experience is the ability to easily leverage prior planning/forecasting versions. The centralized data entry also allows for reports to refresh faster since multiple manual processes have been removed

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of access to complex levels of data Jedox enables, saving incredible amounts of time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issue is the speed at which Jedox can reproduce some data from the server

At the moment Jedox is producing information to support our conversations with partners on performance improvement, and enabling us to challenge business plans

Jedox has helped make our budgeting processes more convenient and faster.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate between menus and Jedox is flexible to create something the way you like it. Building reports based on data entered is somewhat easy. The competitor was Excel, so it helped to get rid of over 200 files per year. A new competitor might be a new ERP software so it depends on the solutions available there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some calculations are too slow. Visual sides when combining rows is not very easy. Creating different views for users could be easier. Some people do not mind entering #/!, but some dislike it a lot. Pricing per user is high when the budget is entered for one department only by one person during one month period. They do not use it every month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too many Excel files previously. Easier to transfer data to QlikView compared to Excel.

Online database. It can be linked to excel.

A small change can lead to a waterfall of changes. The visual engine for reports is poor and slow.

We create reports, which are available for all users in an online environment. We also use it as a database for budgeting.

Detailed and fast data collection and direct calculation of the impact on the result

It is not convenient to record economic plans over several years.
It would be good if you could group not only one cost centre level with the material costs but also different cost centre levels with each other.

We have solved the problem of a detailed and quick plan-as-is analysis and can thus manage the company much faster and better.
