Jedox is Simple, fast, eficient and very flexible to integrate differents data sources.
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation and configuration is realy easy and the results are in a few weeks for big projects
What do you dislike about the product?
In some cases the errors don't have descriptions

We mainly develop solutions to obtain profitability at different levels of the organization.

Versitile and strong planning and analytic platform
What do you like best about the product?
When working with clients I'm able to rapidly prototype what their end solution will look like quickly to give them a feel for their future experience, workflow and benefits they will receive.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I'm able to train people rather quickly on Jedox, I'm not able to easily find many who have prior experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, dashboards, reporting in an efficient manner!

Your success will depend on how well you analyse your needs and design your solution with the strengths of Jedox in mind to get the most out of the system.
Fantastic product with great and tight integration capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
User friendliness of the reporting and modelling studios. Powerful and easy to use Integrator/ETL module. Well documented Open API to deal with tight OEM product integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation only in English (we deal with international organizations who would required documentation in French and other languages). Need more out of the box visualization capabilities. Need a query capability to directly interrogate relational data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting, Analysis and Dashboarding business requirements over financial performance data (Budget, HR spending, Acrivity-based Costing, etc.) centralized in a fairly complex Oracle database. Benefit is mostly to enable Finance people to be fully self-sufficient with the report design and publishing to their end-users..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get advanced training on the modelling component to fully benefit from optimal cubes and rules design.

What do you like best about the product?
Great data analytics, easy to use and flexible to build various reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't encounter any problems since I start using it. Nothing I didlike so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forcasting sales and accounting related details. It helped much with budgeting.
Great BI solution for Excel-based companies
What do you like best about the product?
Intelligence and analytics tools come and go, but no matter what, Excel seems to stick around. I liked that Jedox allowed me to leverage existing Excel spreadsheets without having to go through the sometimes agonizing process of converting them to the "correct" format. Because of this, it's easier for most users to pick up. I also like the integration with other visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that advanced use of Jedox was just beyond the capabilities of some users. It could be easier. This could be overcome by better online training and documentation (but it's not there yet).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a solid BI tool. Like others, it allows you to gain insights from your business and financial data to make better data-driven decisions. I find tools like these essential in building strategy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of BI solutions out there. Make sure you do your research. The familiar Excel-like platform make Jedox unique.
Jedox is very excel-like.
What do you like best about the product?
The excel add-in is a game changer, especially if you are already an expert with excel, that just makes it that much more marketable. Jedox processes and retrieves information quickly, which is useful. Quality + cost ratio line up perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much room for remote training, however, they allow for extensive in person training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics, budgeting, and financial planning. We didn't go live with this one because it just wasn't for our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is going to be very beneficial to larger companies, considering we were on the smaller, start-up end, it just didn't make sense budget wise.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can run what-if scenarios to look for patterns in our historical sales data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed is not what I would like it to be and it hangs often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep track of customers and correlate previous sales issues and product comparisons. I have access to information that I did not have before so I can look at information in multiple ways.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The setup is very straightforward and importing data is also easy. The insight gained by asking your own queries is amazing.

I have nor specific dislikes, the product is solid.

What do you like best about the product?
Jedox is a fast and low footprint system. it suits financial planning and analytics applications well. It is also very appropriate for performance management applications. It is innovative and nimble. It is developer friendly. Business professionals can easily implement the system without utilizing a large team of IT developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation could be better. More user case studies and tutorials would be better although Jedox already has a large library of video tutorials that helps out a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial planning, budgeting, and analytics. We are able to implement a full-blown application with Jedox for our annual budgeting process with only 1 TI developer over a 3-month time period.

It is definitely a professional grade software at a very reasonable price point.
