Flexible Planning that's easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Report development is easy to access if you know excel. Database is made to provide a single point ot truth and to proivide drill-throughs. Multiple connectors to connect everything I wanted to get data from so far. Nice staff and support. Users can work around the globe, using web or excel. Can be installed to the cloud (identical to on-prem). Strong Rule engine very flexible. You can do any planning with quick successes (though refining reports will be a continous effort)
What do you dislike about the product?
Report UI somewhat clunky. Mobile support available (could provide a more suited usability). Sometimes, performance is slow (performance optimization is based on user skills). Report administration not intuitive. Rule error handling relies on using the excel plug-in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Balance and HR planning, but not limited to. Also, engineering and production planning and many more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup on-prem or in the cloud is easy, try a model or make your reports from scratch, importing data from excel sheets as a start or scheduled from a source system.

Anything is possible. The software allows you to build any customized solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of ways to build a solution, often deep knowledge is necessary. It's hard to estimate the time you need to build features because things can be very tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly planning solutions.

For complex planning workflows it's very suitable.

- easy and fast implementation
- has a very good Excel integration, but can also be used in the web
- the suite covers the whole cycle from analysis to planning / budgeting to reporting
- many predefined graphics types that can be used within Excel and also within the web
- a tool for data integration is already included in the software package

What do you dislike about the product?
Jedox has a high learning curve. Nevertheless, complex calculations can be a bit tricky and need some experience to be done.

We use the software for ressource planning and monitoring.

in-memory, ETL integrator, Excel-likeness of web-client, integration with MS Excel (add-in), fast system setup (on-premise) and implementation, no difference in set of functionalities between on-premise and cloud architecture products

the concept of performing complex batch calculations at run-timeseems to be missing

What do you like best about the product?
A very easy etl process possible and perfect integration to qlik and excel.

we impplemented some features with the internal macro editor - a debugger can make can help us to be quicker in developping

Planning budget and forecast with integration to QLIK and MS Excel. Also used as tool for approval processes with workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. We are currently building our modules and even though they are quite complex there has been nothing that has not been able to be achieved at this point.

Have not come across anything that I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an integrated budgeting module. The benefits are that work that previously had to be done manually has been able to be built in so that a huge time saving will be achieved.
Easy to Collect and consolidate data. Excel plus
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up a process that collects data from different users and consolidates those centrally is an easy job. You just need excel knowledge to create reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
No docker support. Software can't be seperated into single processes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We successfully implemented a top down and bottom up resource planning process.
