Use of Jedox
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can have everything in just one place. I can work with different visions and dashs that make it all easier to work when its settled down.
What do you dislike about the product?
I work with too many informations, so i wish it was faster and that I could have fast commands like Excel, so I dislike not having it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using Jedox to build budgets and it worked perfectly, I could put together more than one department's information at the same working place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would reccoment it to all, specially for having a great staff always willing to help.
Use for the preparation and construction of the budget and quarterly forecast revisions.

Ease of use of the tool, especially through Excel.

Without considerations, the system meets our current needs.

I find the formulas a bit complex, and they require greater knowledge.

Standardize the demands between the commercial and production areas, providing greater security in daily operations. Reliability in data.
Great tool for creating and controlling our Budget
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use due to integration with Excel via Plugin. Users easily adapt to the system. Competetive pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as we used the system and for our usecase I don't have any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the system mainly for creating and controlling our companys budget. We made the process a lot more efficient (used Excel spread sheets before) and accurate.
I had a good experience with the program, It is simple, fast, interactive and comunicative.

Jedox is a tool with a very distinct proposition as it is capable of being a database and at the same time a BI tool.
The main highlights are:
- Connection with various databases;
- Internal structuring capability that meets any type of business rule in any area of the organization;
- Easy structuring that does not require experience in programming logic;
- Secure and simple input of elements and attributes in the structure;
- Creation of cube rules to adhere to the organization's business rules in a simple and secure way;
- Data insertion with real-time updates;
- Great ease in creating customized reports;
- Native integration with Excel for creating customized reports;
- Unique features in reports such as (dynarange, variable declaration, various custom filters, filter rules based on variables, among many other features);
- It is a BI tool as it is capable of interacting with various data sources to generate insights in customized tables and charts;
- Capable of integrating with other BI tools such as Power BI;
- Easy data query in Excel for people who are not familiar with the tool.

Improvement proposals are:
- Informative captions in the development of the form/report without the need to consult the modeler;
- Charts that do not need to be linked to a cell, allowing direct interaction with the Palo function.

Normally, I would say that 95% of organizations have part of their data stored in databases and part in Excel, which significantly affects:
- Data reliability due to being spread across various spreadsheets without centralization;
- Causes crises due to delayed decisions because of the time taken to generate reports;
- Highly qualified professionals spend a lot of time generating information instead of consuming it.
These are some of the main problems that every organization faces, and Jedox has come to provide simple and affordable solutions for these types of problems.

SaaS based, provision for dashboards as well as tabular reports.

Frequent updates, sometimes needs more memory but it was our internal data issue.

Flexible solution, easy to expand
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very powerful software, which is easy to use. I love the integration into excel which alows for completely new ad hoc reports within minutes. Whether you are in excel or use a report in the browser, you always see the same data and you can also input data in both places (depending on the rights assigned to the user).
Also you can start with a small solution for a specific reporting or planning need and expand it easily, even during runtime. I was able to create new applications and databases with minimal external consulting.

What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of workflows into custom reports and applications could be easier. It works very easy if you stick to the models that come with the software, but it requires some work to include workflows into your own models.
Also it would be nice to have some kind of plugin to represent sales data on a map.

It is very flexible: we use it for sales reporting and budgeting, financial reporting and budgeting, but also for reporting on product costing, capex investments and activities of our test center.
With Jedox we have all relevant data fort the whole group in one place and can specify who gets to see what data.
