Flexibility, stability, compactness, support, regular updates can be planned, easy to install.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional excel add-in bugs, but these are usually fixed quickly.

Planning, budgeting, forecast, statements, reports, mandatory data reporting, pre and post calculations, cost price calculation

Easy design of reports. Very similar to Excel.

Analyzer reports have been discontinued.

We have automatized reports and set up an integrated planning system. Reporting works much faster now.

High licensing costs at the start for few users
it doesn't work without a consultant -> but it also brings input from an external perspective

All tools to create your reporting (input, reports, in-memory multi-dimensional database, ETL)
Ability to convert any Excel report template into a Jedox web report (colors, margins, columns & row disposition are converted automaticly)

Limited choice for complex charts and dashboards
The views on a mobile device is also limited (it's in progress, but it's difficult for any tool (not only Jedox) to render data correctly in a tabular view)

We were able to build a tool with Jedox to share data across all our users. It's a central and unique place for input and report data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jedox is a perfect solution to build a solution adapted to your needs, with a high level of customization and all tools nécessary available directly on the application, ideal for creating an application from scratch. On the other hand, you may need more time to learn how to use it and build all the necessary parts of your solution.

Jedox is very easy to use, as it is very similar to excel.

- Less manual data collection via Excel and Email across several business areas such as Business Controlling, Treasury, Production, HR and Procurement.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is continuously updated and the features grow constantly without cutting many of the "old" features. No need to update or work constantly on your model, but it's fun to do so. Even without consultants there are loads of information in the knowledge base.

There is a felt tendency that the on premise versions will slowly fade out. Currently I'm not a fan cloud versions.

We use it intensively for most controlling reports. Also the webreports for purchasing and sales.
