It works for entree level tablet management.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can help customers out by logging in to their tablets and it makes all the troubleshooting so much easier. It has an app and also a web version so that makes it easier to open when my browser isn't working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't use it on the Opera browser. Also, it crashes very frequently for some time. It has a lot of valuable information about tablets and their software but most of that info can only be accessed manually and individually through each tablet info. I wish Esper had the option to download extracts with all that data to be able to do better analysis and find areas of opportunity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Troubleshooting for busy restaurants who don't have the time to be following steps to fix things. Remote access has saved us a lot of time and has improved our customer satisfaction.

Makes managing app versioning much easier and more scalable
What do you like best about the product?
the ease of changing app versions on various devices, the screen share options
What do you dislike about the product?
when devices are offline and miss updates, it would be better if we could automatically update them when they get back online

we used to have to manually download new versions on devices (via a slack link/download). it was time consuming and difficult to manage devices across our warehouses

Friendly user interface / easy to follow controls

Some of the fields are pressed together so that it's difficult to see when data is entered

restoring connectivity to devices that have lost the connection to the internet

What do you like best about the product?
I like that esper will allow you to troubleshoot multiple issues related to the device that can be resolved over the phone rather than going in person to fix the problem with the device in person.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only time I had issues with esper was when the server was down or sometimes experienced connectivity issues, but other than that, everything else is great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps me troubleshoot a lot a problems that restaurant owners may encounter with our tablets that can be resolved quickly over the phone without having some to go deal with it in person.

I love the fact that your able to control the tablet and be able to solve any problem the restaurant owners may have with the device. Makes troubleshooting a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only down side I have faced was when the server goes down or some devices with not let me do remote control sometimes, other than that I think it`s perfect.

Printer issues, connectivity issues, troubleshooting, and remote view of our devices help make our job more accessible and more productive.

Easy to maintain data base of tablets loaded with POS software
What do you dislike about the product?
The saved Wifi profiles in some rare cases do not work.

Able to load custom software to tablet for credit card processing.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to remote control our clients tablet to facilitate our job and explain mistakes easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I has to do more about our clients Internet, but esper sometimes takes some time to load the remote control function, or not connect at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to help our clients confirm their online orders or notify them when ever they having a pending order by using the remote control function.
Great Tool to handle a fleet of mobile devices
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless process of onboarding any mobile device with clear documentation and multiple options to onboard devices into the system

Nothing much, I once had the issue with not being able to set the timezone on a device remotely.

Lacks features, scheduled deployments are hit and miss, ghost failures during provisioning, lack of dedicated support

Esper allows us to provision devices to work with our software application. push updates and control access levels for users.
