A Quick, Beautiful Flow Chart or Plant Layout is Always at My Fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fast and easy access to LucidChart right in my web browser. After logging in, all of my existing documents are clearly displayed and previewed. This allows me to quickly open one up to make changes, or start a new one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling can be confusing when creating plant or room layouts. A dimension tool, like Visio offers, would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's fast and easy to create flow charts and plant layouts. Sharing these documents with colleagues is easier through LucidChart, than a separate email program.
The most amazing Process Chart software on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
If love Lucidcharts. It makes making process diagrams, timeline, or mockups super easy. It's one of those programs that I don't think I could do my job without it. It makes drawing up a process map into something fun instead of a chore.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike with Lucidchart is the price. I pay for it myself, but if I worked at a company that would pay for it, that would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process diagrams, timelines, scheme building, even floorplans! I have solved dozens of problems with Lucidcharts!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an easy to use diagramming software and don't want to buy software but get something SaaS, then this is THE diagramming software to use. I use it for everything.
Chart Creation made easy
What do you like best about the product?
It helps a lot in creating charts and graphs and it's straightforward. Without looking at the tutorial, I'm able to present all my graphs fluidly without any hassle. Converting it to pdf is also easy and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the ability to collapse all charts at once instead of breaking it out page by page. Besides it, I can't really complain much about the tool.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great chart startup tool that you can use. You can even go crazy utilizing the tool if you decide to do so. There are tutorials that you can use if you decide the image is not straightforward. There are also community you can use online to find out if there are some tips and tricks you wanted to know further
Very Nice User Experience

I love how modern these charts look compared to other older tools I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! It's been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Charting out HR business processes, so we have documentation for future reference and making sure the process stays the same in other countries around the world.
Great tool -- once you get the hang of it
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are so many features and functions to create the perfect flow chart. Lucidchart helps me look like a professional designer, even though I'm not. Their selection of shapes, forms, etc. is diverse and this tool certainly helps me visualize for myself and for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit cumbersome drawing out a custom chart and getting the flow lines and boxes just where you want them. Also, what the free version allows could be quite slim.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
often, we run into a project flow issue and this not only helps by visually showcasing the project flow, but also, product flow, UX, and allow for real time edits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With all their templates and download options, there's a great deal of versatility. I definitely recommend taking enough time to familiarize yourself with the software and even if you're seasoned with software like this, I recommend starting with the free version (although limited) to see if this is where you want to go.
Lucidchart the best software in creating diagrams/designs
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is simple, yet it'll meet your needs. Also there's a lot of shapes available for you to choose from. I can see that whatever industry you are working, as long as you need to create diagrams, lucidchart will help you.

No PC based app. Everything is browser based

Lucidchart has a trial version, try it before you go with visio as Im sure it'll change your mind

Lucid chart is very easy to use, I love its exportable formats and lots of great features.

Sometimes my drawing don't load as quickly as I need, sometimes the fonts don't show up

Accurately diagram workflows and processes, at a reasonable cost for its use.

A great low cost option to someone who may only use small features of Visio

For diagramming a user flow or a process, Lucid chart has been great. It is really easy to edit and shift things around and connect them in different ways.

The text editing within Lucid chart has always been a little clunky for me.

Good visualization of flows and processes. Quick iteration on said flows/processes.
Useful and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
There's a very short learning curve for Lucidchart. The simple drag and drop capability was straightforward and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found sometimes aligning shapes was a little difficult. Also, building the connections between blocks was frustrating at times – it's a difficult problem to solve, but when connecting a lot of different elements the diagrams sometimes became overcrowded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was building a visual diagram to help a large marketing team get organized around a campaign release, including timing, the prospect's journey, and the role each sub-team would play in the campaign.

If you know what you're going to use it for, just do the free trial.

Its slow at times. Also, importing external image might be a pain.

It's excellent cloud product you can use for diagrams and planning of a software system. Whether it be creating technical documentation, or user documentation, Lucid Chart has been helpful tool for us so far.
