Amazing diagramming experience
What do you like best about the product?
It has many options of templates to make process flows, presentations, diagrams, mental and conceptual maps. You can work in real time and in collaboration with everyone involved, it is an easy to use application and very flexible, it adapts to any scenario you need
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to move objects from one side to another, if the diagram is very extensive and how many objects can make the application slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a very useful tool to structure the processes of the office, but also gives structure and form to all our work, together we have managed to make collaborative work much more productive
My best software for diagrams and maps.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucidchart is cloud based and fairly priced.Allows for easy collaboration with fellow users of Lucidchart in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have enough diagramming templates in its library.

I use Lucidchart for diagramming.
Good for flowchart prototyping

Quick and easy interface, and good cloud integration

The ease of interface sacrifices some finer control
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's best for simple flowcharts, either for simple processes or for summaries of more complex ones. For highly detailed/custom/atypical flowcharts we'd use Vizio.
Incredible tool used for breaking down large scale processes and workflows
What do you like best about the product?
We love that we can get absolutely and totally creative with this system! We use it all across our company, from pre-sales to training to implementations and even product and engineering! It allows us to see how we break down our large scale projects into smaller measurables.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can get super granular and in the weeds on this, which can be tough to manage. It's very easy to use but also easy to get way too deep into the details and lose sight of what we're really trying to accomplish. But that's our own problem to solve for!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much better visibility into large scale projects and workflows that often slow us down when the vision isn't fully realized!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Across the entire company, we've found ways to put some action and workflow around our big ideas. This has been a truly great product to help us bring more focused momentum into our start-up!
Keeps getting better
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Lucidchart on a non profit license and it keeps getting better. What I like most is the fluidity of use, where it's easy to create the flowcharts, etc you dream up without having to understand a complicated program. I also like that I can use it across platforms!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish there were more visual options and customization tools available, like more unique box shapes and arrows. It seems like a very easy modification to overcome, though. I also think it's a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have always been good with other charting and graphing programs, but that didn't mean I enjoyed using them. I enjoy Lucidchart and find it progresses my productivity while still being fun. I get more done with less stress, and I feel confident others can help me complete my work on Lucidchart without much training.
Great and convenient tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that everything is 1. saved online, 2. can easily be shared with others and 3. allow collaboration. The price is also very reasonable for the features I need.

Sometimes it is slow because it is online & sometimes some shapes are harder to find,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use it to draw all types of designs: data, technology, road maps etc. it helps us visually and effectively communicate with our clients externally and inter department hand offs and plan execution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a lite version of a modeling tool. It has all the basic features you need for a quick presentation and then some. Is it as powerful as visio? absolutely not, but it is cheaper and gets the job done for smaller companies.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely flexible. Very easy to learn. Cloud based. Reasonable cost. Ability to link data to Excel and databases. Good phone support.

Nothing, the product has fully met my needs..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is very useful for project management, website design, presentations and signage. I've even used it for flowcharting family ancestry. It supplements other graphic design tools when I need more "intelligent" flowchart symbols.

A good alternative to Visio.
Website Charting Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Lucidchart for mapping out several websites! I have even used it to map out folders on shared drives on our computers at work to help new employees locate different materials that they would need!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at the moment! All I have used this for is making sitemaps and folder maps and this site has fulfilled that task completely!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! as well as helping other employees to navigate through our business website, folders etc...
Great and Powerful Chart Creation Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create visually stunning and impressive charts or diagrams relatively easily using Lucidchart. It is very user friendly and requires virtually no training or help guides to learn how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the user interface can be a tiny bit cluttered at times but this really is not that big of a deal. It may be a bit intimidating to people because there are so many different buttons and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the problem of process communication with clients. It allows me to represent complex processes with a visual diagram. This is much better than any written format.

Very easy to use and simple to integrate with Google Drive.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart allow me collaborate with different people when working on my diagrams and maps.It integrates with my Google Drive and I see this feature as an indispensable feature as it makes it possible to save process maps and designs into my Drive account,from where I can always access them in future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more the number of elements present in my maps,the slower Lucidchart becomes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart to create process and activity maps meant to better explain marketing strategy and tactics to my team at Interswitch.
