Easy to use, harder to master, benefitting your daily work
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is an easy-to-use yet powerful tool. It helps draw diagrams, flowcharts, model business processes, and generally aids in visually transporting valuable information that otherwise would have to be a detailed text. It is easy to use but "under the hood" grants access to features you would expect from a fully-fledged (and expensive) standalone software solution.
As a cloud app, sharing with teammates is easy - be it for viewing only or for collaborative editing.
As a cloud app, sharing with teammates is easy - be it for viewing only or for collaborative editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a cloud app. so you need to be aware of the implications this brings with it. Sharing is easy, but so is sharing secrets, so you have to be double careful. As with all cloud services, you have to trust the platform to keep your data private.
The learning curve is not as flat as one would wish, but I guess it is reasonable to get to the details later.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I model business processes, create our network documentation and will probably use it more often the more I get into actually using it. It was even quick enough to have me model a business process just in time for a team presentation. That wasn't perfect, of course, but it was easy enough to work on it later to refine the results and get things done even better. My teammate helped me with it - in that case it was crucial to have a cloud-based approach because we were both working from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared to spend some time digging into all the options available to make full use of this product. Also, if you are unclear about what you are trying to model, you will not be able to get it done.
Big fan of LucidChart, but LucidSpark is not there yet.
What do you like best about the product?
The clean user interface. For instance the legend for users or the break out boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
For customers with which I share a board I dislike the commercial notices during onboarding and in the board.
For myself that I cannot exclusively lock shapes (for templates), now guests with editing rights have a possibility to unlock those shapes.
You cannot draw a line to somewhere on a pasted picture, you always get stuck on on the edges of the shape.
The unattractive license fees for a 2 person consultancy that need to be able to scale up and down, based on customer engagements.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not worked with clients with Lucidspark, so I cannot answer this question.
Great platform for software architecture.

I could say nothing that I wouldn't say I like because the tool offers me all I need for my job
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some are demos. Also, the tool helps me a lot to explain to my colleagues' multiples design patterns
Very easy to use and helpful product
What do you like best about the product?
Huge list of features with great ease of use even for first time whiteboard users
Collaboration is easy and brainstorming is a breeze with Lucid Spark.
Collaboration is easy and brainstorming is a breeze with Lucid Spark.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation across the whiteboard could be a bit difficult when multiple spaces are being used to write or draw.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating my first product and collaborating on design sprints and ideation has become very simple since we are working remotely. In the post covid world, collaborating from multiple geographies becomes all the more useful.
A great bit of kit!
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality of lucidchart is super quick and easy and makes my job 10 times easier. Sometimes we have to create diagrams with no time to spare and the ability to not only create diagrams super fast but also have them look beautiful with seemless arrows and text is a huge bonus. The other great thing about lucid chart is the collaberation tools. I am able to share diagrams with the team for collaborations and have them make changes and updates as they see fit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training documentation can sometimes get in the way. There is a super annoying pop up that you have to click x to get out of that is constantly there. I dont know how to get rid of it so maybe its just me being stupid. Connecting arrows to each box can also be incredibly finicky and annoying. Sometimes you click on a box and have to spent 1-2 minutes working on getting it exactly to the center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Majority of the problems we are solving are diagrams and being able to show the clients exactly how a setup will work. We have to make a large ammount of changes with clients and being able to make those changes on the fly directly with a client is a huge plus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are after something fast and quick, definitely give lucidchart a go.
Org Chart Builder
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ability to personalize the layout, user friendly. It is a good portal for collaborating and team-based activities. I have had personal success in creating a massive org chart with their lucidchart application. I also enjoy the fact that this application is web-based and can come with me on the go, as in I can access it anywhere. I enjoy the fact that it is an intuitive software that learns as you go. Lucidspark makes it possible to contextualize and think through long-term and high complexity projects. There are also an abundance of templates available to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've only scratched the surface with its use, and I haven't had the opportunity to push its functionality enough to comment on this area yet. However, with that in mind, I have noticed a couple of things that I dislike (could be due to personal preference). Lucidspark doesn't get along well with MS Teams and can be tricky uploading files. Also, if you are on the free trial, you can only download 3 files total.. not enough in my opinion to give you a true taste of what this product can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to COVID-19, it is more important now than ever to have a digital software capable of hosting collaboration sessions in real time. Other systems can have severe lag but I have yet to experience that with Lucidspark. I have been able to fully customize and download a large file org chart without compromising the layout as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it out, make sure that you and a couple of colleagues each try different functions to see if it is an appropriate fit for your business.
Takes Lot of Memory (RAM)
What do you like best about the product?
The Drawings (Shapes,Plugins from AWS/GCP/Azure)
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes lot of memory and some time goes to non-responsive mode
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud Designs, Network Diagrams, Activity and Flow Diagrams
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have agood latop to handle Lucidspark
Lucidspark feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Overall easy to use, great functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
sorting is limited on some filters. doesn't necessarily sort the way you'd expect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
brainstorming with the team, provides fast visuals that we can all edit
Recommendations to others considering the product:
improve sorting - more options in how to sort
