Lucid spark review
What do you like best about the product?
It helps in discussing ideas at a same place. Multiple people can work simultaneously on it and it provides smooth interface to interact with the whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with different meeting providers. Zoom integration will be a big plus if present. I know you can still share the screen and do the tasks but would be cool if integration can be done right on the app itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whiteboarding ideas while working from home
It is quite helpful in documenting ideas and at the same time collaborating with others in the team. Making charts and designs is the primary use case for now. As our product is in primary stage we needed such tool to do a lot of whiteboarding and lucid spark has helped a lot so far. Would love to try their full version now. Also was searching for the app for lucidspark but couldnt find any. Would love to see the app for this so that documents can be easily accesses from the mobile devices also

Easy to Use/Lots of Options
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark has been so easy to use and quick to learn. The layout is simple and it's easy to find what you're looking for. It gives me so many options to really customize my Lucidchart for every client.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark helps me layout my clients blueprint quickly so they can see their future and current business structure. This has been a huge benefit as it helps me prepare a visual before our calls to help walk them through their business structure.

Practice makes perfect. Take the time to go through all of the options available.

What do you like best about the product?
It enables the team to do collaborative work. Great tool for diagrammatic representation. We sometimes use it as a whiteboard session to brainstorm ideas. The built in templates are great and helpful.
Also the integration with the Slack and Google drive is really useful.

Well, the only annoying thing was having to double-tap a lot of the things to make changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to document our architecture using the C4 Model; it is straightforward with lucidspark to integrate the C4 components and use it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use it and it's a useful tool to get the ideas out of your head

Nothing special, I think the design could be a little bit improved, some models look quite vintage

I have many ideas popping in my head and Lucidspark help me to create links and to have everything visually organized
Handy tool for drawing
What do you like best about the product?
Lines allign themselves to the grid which is very helpful in drawing

There should be a button to enable or disable those grids

I used Lucidspark for drawing block diagrams. It is convenient to use Lucidspark when drawing block diagrams and fflowcharts
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are drawing a flowchart or block diagram or something like that, Lucidspark is the best option
It is a great tool to use collaboratively to brainstorm and collect ideas

I don't think there is anything that I can point out, a very interactive tool. It would be nice if there could be integration with Zoom or another face-to-face tool.

Team building and being able to brainstorm together and lay out our thoughts. Especially lovely when having more than four people on at the same time.

The free account only allows 3 boards; therefore make sure to get the information you need before you erase it
Easy to use, beautiful results
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is super easy and intuitive to use. I was able to create beautiful flowcharts in a fraction of the time it would take me to use other products. My charts were easily organized and easy to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not observe any downsides to using Lucidspark. It served my purposes perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Lucidspark has been most helpful with solving is the visualization of our processes. My favorite tool to use is the flowchart designer.

The provided preset guides and templates provide clear structure that can easily be adjusted to fit the mold you need!

I have yet to face a headwind with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid continues to assist with putting my ideas on paper and creating actions items to bring them to life.
Great for working with teams
What do you like best about the product?
I can import custom images; This is great when working with not-so-common technologies. I can also work with my team mates and every one can share their input for the problem we are trying to solve, so its easier to colaborate. There are also common templates I can use and modify meaning I can diagram my solutions much faster and work on solving the real problem faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot collaborate with teammates when they don't have a paid plan, even though I have a paid plan. This is sometimes frustrating because I end up sharing screen and my team just shouts what they would like to see. Also, sometimes I import some custom images for my diagrams and they are not shared with new diagrams so I need to re import them on the other diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart for diagraming and architecting software solutions. With these diagrams, I can express my solutions to my team and prevent communication mistakes. It is also a great solution for documenting current solutions, making the onboarding time with new members much faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend paying for the complete team; that way, everyone on the team can collaborate by sharing their inputs to the problem. I would also recommend them to create their custom templates that the different groups inside the same organization can use to leverage their diagramming and use their valuable time giving value to the organization.
Competent and refined collaboration. Could use some work but is quite adequate.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and smooth experience when using the tools. Easy to pick up which is great for collaboration. I can't say they do anything revolutionary compared to other programs, but they've really nailed the basics and have taken it a little farther than many other tools I've seen, on top of building a more robust framework for all their tools to exist within.
What do you dislike about the product?
The higher-level UI is kind of unhelpful and slow, though not terribly. I'm not an expert here, but I think there's room to improve there. It can also be slow to sync, but I've only seen google stuff be better. Some user customization of what tools they want to use personally or for the organization would help cut down on the clutter and keep it simpler for people to get right into collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation and collaborative design, which are the main benefits we sought in the first place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There may be other products out there, but Lucidspark is a solid contender. Definitely worth trying. I know there are more intricate products out there, but the simplicity offered really helps get everyone involved quickly, instead of having a period requiring training.
