It's a great tool to facilitate working sessions with my team and articulate/brainstorm ideas. Was looking for such a tool since we started working from home. I just love this tool.

I have been using the tool and do not have much to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming sessions

A game-changer for my team's work

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easily navigable and I can create a professional-looking yet utilitarian chart in just a few minutes. My team has benefited greatly from the ability to work synchronously and asynchronously within the same charts. It's been a true game-changer in many ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
The options for objects to use could be more comprehensive. However, the included packs are still fairly voluminous! Other than that, LucidChart has definitely met my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use LucidCharts for outbreak cluster mapping, which has helped us visualize outbreaks in real time in order to provide more timely public health prevention initiatives.

Fabulous tool for expert facilitators navigating a virtual world

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Folks nowadays are Zoom-ed out. Virtual meetings all day long where the mode of the meeting is mostly discussion based. Using Lucidspark has literally provided a SPARK to my meetings, creating a level of interest and engagement that is hard to pull off in a virtual environment. My meeting participants were able to participate in an action planning session by typing in ideas and then moved sticky notes around the page. No meeting platform can do that!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I found that typing in the sticky notes got a bit cumbersome but nothing that I couldn't manage or frankly, conquer. Everything else is A* to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Action planning and resource mapping through a virtual meeting environment.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have our team choose items, copy and rank them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The boards got a bit unwieldy when multiple teams joined a discussion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were working on merchandise copy and design ideas with multiple teams.

Collaborative Tool

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to have my students work collaboratively in break out boards on any given topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. There are so many amazing features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a digital age of teaching and learning, Lucid Spark offers the ability for students to show their understanding in a very creative manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidspark is a versatile tool that can be used to collaborate or illustrate understanding of a topic. There are so many tools that are integrated in Lucidspark that it meets the needs of all users.

Reminiscent of the walls in an agency

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark allowed me to bring the same collaborative setting as an agency into a non-profit organisation during our ideation process. In an agency, I had the luxury of using multi-coloured post-its to go through client briefs with the team. Ideas can come in fast and furious and so would the critical analysis of the processes involved. Lucidspark gave me a chance to bring this same spontaneity without the mess!
What do you dislike about the product?
Through no fault of Lucidspark itself, no monitor can cover the size of a wall without being insanely expensive. It would also be great to enable users to upload custom images into the platform itself, i.e. brand logos. There is also no option to export all visuals as HTML5 to be placed onto websites. For pricing, we hope there will be a Non-Profit discount offered for organisations in our industry as it will help Non-Profits to adopt the same best practices as a corporate, given the tools they need to improve their workflow or processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to share ideas, including the process of elimination, and then prioritise them. This has to be done visually. With Lucidspark, we were able to do this just as we would using physical coloured post-it notes without wasting paper. When COVID-19 forced us to work remotely, we had to think of ways where the same collaborative environment can be simulated. With users connected into Lucidspark, we could achieve this during our video conferences and still get almost the same visual representation of a collaborative whiteboard. We no longer needed to take pictures after a session is done; everyone was given a softcopy at the end of each session.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use Google's Jamboard frequently, have a feel for Lucidspark's trial offer first. While they are both visual collaboration platforms, Lucidspark is much smoother to use and more enjoyable.

Responsive Browser-Based Whiteboarding. Finally.

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark's responsiveness and ease of use are superior to other whiteboarding tools I've tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
The toolset for whiteboarding is not as robust as some other products, but new tools and features are routinely added, and it has not been a deal-breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark has simplified brainstorming and idea sessions during a challenging remote work period for our team at Pima Community College and has become an invaluable part of my workflow.

Great tool for real time interactive virtual brainstorming

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a quick learning curve. Having a new user able to double click to add virtual sticky notes within a minute or less of use is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting information out of the tool is painful. The .csv export of data isn't intuitively organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can get information from dozens (even hundreds) of people in an extremely short time frame. It is collaborative, people can vote on/rank/emoji other people's ideas, fostering greater engagement.

Simple to use, then a perfect whiteboard for workbench with customers

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple & clear
We can share access and manage dashboards
Same shortcuts as common tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow startup
Connection & startup are slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In this remote working period, Lucidspark helps me to design IT architecture with my customers. Better than a presentation we are actors on a common whiteboard.

Great Collaboration Tool

  • April 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great for brainstorming sessions with a team. Relatively intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything thus far, maybe the ability to import from more formats, but I have not tried to do this yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very effective for digital whiteboarding and brainstorming/mindmapping sessions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it!
