Lucidspark review

  • April 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having team players providing input in the same document is an excellent tool for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to highlight as a weakness. The software is well integrated with other systems and enables the team to carry out the work simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have teams in different offices, and not always possible to meet in person to discuss the ideas or brainstorm. Lucidspark enables collaboration even if we have people in other locations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Lucidspark for a business that requires collaboration between team members. It is also a handy tool for companies with offices in multiple locations.

Pretty good software, does all the basics we needed as a company but doesn't meet all our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
1. like a virtual whiteboard, you can set it up almost however you like so it's beneficial for workshop meetings when you want to get groups to collaborate with a common goal.

2. Adding reactions & voting is handy so as a facilitator you can see what comments need more attention

3. Ability to save templates is really handy as I use the same templates constantly for things like team retrospective.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The software is laggy and there is a slight delay in comparison to competitors.

2. Doesn't allow you to see who contributed to what, so it's hard to facilitate discussions.

3. Grouping tool is hard to use, as you can only group things by tags or keywords

4. More robust Jira integration, that would allow us to visualise the dependencies between tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for collaborating efficiently and effectively now that we are predominately working from home. Lucidspark contributes to solving this problem but as mentioned, it doesn't do everything we want.

Give it a go, you'll be surprised how easy it is to use and onboard

Acceptable whiteboard for limited use

  • April 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it integrates with Lucidchart and would be acceptable for planning inside an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm used to using Mural now, so Lucidspark's offering was more limited and higher priced. I'll choose to stick with Mural for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After trying it out, I've decided not to use it with my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try if you need an internal collaborative whiteboard tool, especially if already using LucidChart.

I absolutely love Lucidspark!

What do you like best about the product?
How you can bring your visions to fruition and build beautiful layouts! This helps me SOOO much since I am a visual learner. During one of your marketing meetings, my co-worker created a brilliant board that we had to fill out ahead of time on lurid spark. There were three sections one for your priorities, a chart for your mood and a section for your successes and areas of improvement. We all filled this out ahead of time and went in to see how everyone's week was going on the day of the meeting. Lucidspark was a great visual and interactive tool for our team to use remotely that helped us with creativity and connecting with one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more customizable options such as a full branding guideline that could be adopted into using it as a company. (fonts, colors, logos) Brings the visual more to life when showing your lead!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have changed the way we do our weekly meetings! With fill-in-the-blank charts and graphs to really show how we are doing throughout the week and what we need help in! We are also building out our entire map for our blog called the Pennyverse. Having the entire layout organized and showcasing where we will be backlinking with what blog, helps everyone see the greater picture!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommended using this in a team setting! You will find your creativity and productivity skyrocket! Try it in your next meeting!! Make sure to get creative and go big with your builds!

Should you use Lucidspark for Confluence wiki?

  • April 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have a lot of good templates that I can pick to use. I especially love the AWS template as I build many network diagrams for my teams/projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiki page shows a floating diagram instead of a fixed diagram. Because of this floating diagram, scrolling within the area is possible, thus causing unexpecting shifting of diagram during presentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A diagram can show a process or network connectivity better than a table or words.
