I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite incredibly useful for my work. It is simple and easy to use for mapping out exactly how systems are set up, which saves significant time and effort in project drawings and customer system mappings. The online suite is very straightforward and user-friendly, making my tasks more efficient. I love the huge selection of icons available, which enhances my ability to create detailed and visually appealing diagrams. The initial setup process was very easy, requiring only an account creation to get started, allowing me to be up and running without any hassle. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I haven't encountered anything that I feel needs improvement, which speaks volumes about the product's functionality and efficiency.

Effortless Process Documentation with an Intuitive Interface

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think it helps document process flows very well and allows for any company's various processes to be documented thoroughly. It is easy on a user interface side and does not need a lot of upfront knowledge to utilize.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be a bit painful to double click into things and when there are two many objects, displaying everything is not always so straightforward. I do like that there are many objects but distilling what you need in the beginning takes some time. Some upfront tutorials with use cases would be cool to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is connecting the dots between the different layers of the company. How information is being fed from one system to another and how we can optimize our processes better. It is also helpful to have a visual way of seeing information flows given that we don't always have clarity on which system is sending information to which system. I do enjoy having folks see visually how processes are all interconnected.

What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to navigate and build out what I was looking for
What do you dislike about the product?
The zoom, scroll and movement design. I don't like how it selects where it scrolls and how to move around the screen. I understand how it works but I don't like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to put out workflow processes into a charted design to display the workflow to other managers and teams for their understanding.

Comprehensive tools for demanding projects

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate the diverse tools and options of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, which enable a wide range of applications. The intuitive operation significantly facilitates the use of the software, which is especially beneficial for people who are already familiar with other common programs like PowerPoint and Excel. This similarity to other software solutions allows for a quick learning curve and a smooth transition. Additionally, I find it valuable that the suite allows for effective virtual or hybrid meetings by enabling all participants to work simultaneously and live on one platform. This reduces the need to print and digitize materials for F2F meetings, which significantly streamlines the process. Overall, I appreciate the wealth of possibilities the suite offers and the associated professionalism, which is ideally suited for more complex projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it problematic that exporting elements from the Lucid Board to other software is not straightforward. For example, it is difficult to drag multiple sticky notes directly as text or as an editable slide into PowerPoint. Additionally, zooming and scrolling are challenging due to different screen sizes. It would be helpful to receive recommendations on what magnification to work with on a laptop screen to avoid constantly zooming in and out and to be able to adjust the size of the elements and font sizes used from the start. Furthermore, I miss some functionalities that I know from other software, such as grouping, background, and guidelines. Often, I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite not integrated with other tools, but independently. Finally, the application is too professional for smaller tasks or simple brainstorming sessions and offers more options than necessary, which requires a small acclimatization phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, I design effective virtual meetings, reduce the paperwork for materials, and organize multiple boards seamlessly. The software enables simultaneous, live collaboration and offers an intuitive interface, comparable to common software, which shortens the learning curve.

What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the measurements and size display within the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. It's challenging to see sizes clearly, which affects my ability to work precisely with charts and workflows.

Top-Tier Visualization for Professional Teams

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've known about Lucid long before starting to use it professionally. Alongside other visualization platforms, Lucid has always been on top of the list, when it comes to visualization technology.

It is most suitable and powerful when in the hands of rather bigger teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid can do better I believe in marketing the different tools, e.g. I believe for my personal use case, I'd rather have the different tools in one, right now they are spread out e.g.:

LucidChart, LucidSpark, LucidScale, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team Retros using Lucid are a visual way of sharing your thoughts and brainstorming.

Excellent for cross team communication and great for alignment

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When I'm working with design, verification or automation, lucid suites makes it easy to co author diagrams, annotate test flows and iterate quickly without versioning headaches. When i'm mapping out a single unit test strategy, lucid handles complexity well without becoming cluttered or slow. Pre built templates for flowcharts saves time and help maintain consistency across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid suite doesn't offer robust versioning or diff capabilities. When multiple engineers are iterating on test architecture diagrams, it is hard to track changes or roll back cleanly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid suite saves me time during planning and debugging, improves clarity when explaining complex validation flows and makes collaboration with remote teams much smoother. It turns abstract test strategies and workflows into clear diagrams reducing misunderstandings across design, verification and QA teams.
