Customizable and User-Friendly, Needs Initial Guidance

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite incredibly beneficial for creating organization charts. The ease with which I can add images and arrange the hierarchy makes my work more efficient and visually clear. I love being able to add photos and show exactly how many people are under each person, which enhances my ability to create detailed, unique org charts without relying on pre-existing templates. The ability to set conditions and customize charts with different shadings, shapes, and borders allows me to tailor my work specifically to my needs, enhancing creativity and visual appeal. Additionally, the initial setup was straightforward, and the user experience is generally positive, contributing to a high likelihood of recommending the tool to others, rated at 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it unclear how to move objects around initially in the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. A quick guide or tutorial at the start would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to easily add images, arrange hierarchy, and create unique org charts without templates, enhancing my workflow with customizable features like conditions, shadings, shapes, and borders.

Visually Engaging, Collaborative, and Fast—A Must-Have for Team Process Flows

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's valuable to create process flows that are visually appealing and collaborative for engagement with my teams. I like that there are templates and styles, and that Lucid doesn't lag like Visio. I am interested in the ability to work on documents with a team with various permissions. I use Lucid every day and my team sees value in it the more I use it. It's pretty easy to start using as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could select a template in the same way that I could choose a shape, instead of it creating a whole new page or tab. I want more options for styles and more templates to choose from, but I don't want them to be so crazy or "untested" for fluidity that they aren't cohesive with the application so I understand that they are slow to evolve for a good reason. I would like to see wireframe features that are on the same level as Figma or Balsamiq and I'd also like a much larger variety of mindmap features and symbol sets. I think that the layering feature is very cool and very useful but I think it can be a bit unintuitive to use and I frequently have to backtrack and figure out what happened to my layers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visio is not collaborative and is very slow and clunky. I like the modern style of lucid chart and i love the ability to make my flows interactive and visually appealing

Simple to my liking

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is extremely helpful for quickly creating visual diagrams. I’ve been using Lucidchart for a long time, and it’s always the first tool that comes to mind whenever I need to make any type of chart. The suite itself is quite intuitive—you don’t need to spend much time reading instructions to get started, and it offers all the tools necessary to build a solid chart. Personally, I mainly use it to create flowcharts, especially when designing systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although most features are straightforward, I find that you really need to use the suite regularly to become comfortable navigating the interface. Even though I understand the basics of using such tools, I often struggle to quickly locate or identify the right tool for a specific situation. For instance, when I want to add a component to a diagram, I sometimes have to search around to find the exact tool I need. Still, perhaps this is simply part of the learning curve that comes with any design tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use Lucid chart to draw flow chart as a solutions architect, most of the time design systems and how micro-services integrates with one another. Most of the time, it's much easier to understand the system when you have a diagram.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Lucid's visual collaboration suite seamlessly integrates multiple tools like Lucidchart and Lucidspark into a single platform. This creates a centralized, dynamic workspace that moves teams beyond static documents and fosters real-time, visual problem-solving.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure can be prohibitive for smaller teams or individual users, and the extensive feature set can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the problem of scattered ideas and misalignment by centralizing collaboration into dynamic, visual documents. This benefits me by replacing long email chains and static files with a single source of truth, making complex concepts clear and accelerating decision-making.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easily sharable and editable the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is, allowing multiple parties to collaborate seamlessly within a single app. Additionally, the new AI feature is a standout for me as it can automate the drawing of steps when provided with precise directions, which enhances efficiency and accuracy in documenting processes visually.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the editing functions somewhat hard to use. There are many buttons and options that I need to switch between, which makes the process cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to document processes visually, making them easily sharable and editable for multiple parties, and the AI feature helps create steps efficiently.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's AI features incredibly helpful, especially for someone like me who is new to the platform. This assistance makes building business processes significantly easier and more accessible. Additionally, I appreciate the well-defined menu, which provides plenty of options and clearly represents each shape, allowing me to understand what each signifies. The help guide is another aspect I like as it effectively explains the menu options and various features, enabling me to follow along quite easily. The initial setup was straightforward thanks to the AI and the provided guide, which made the process easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tutorial video seemed to be only available in German. It would be beneficial if tutorial videos were available in more languages or featured closed captioning to accommodate non-German speakers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to model business processes more effectively by visually mapping steps, enhancing understanding, and improving team engagement without overwhelming text. The AI and detailed guide simplify use for newcomers like me.

Intuitive and Easy to Use from the Start

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive use of elements, as someone who jumped right in, I found it easy to figure out.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downsides, I did find that when i was connecting the different nodes, that sometimes the lines were hard to control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps you visualize blocks of code that are otherwise not arranged in a visual format. For mapping customer journey, it helps you to represent different things with shape or color. It helps us by defining what each shape means and reduces friction with an easy UI where each type of element is easy to drag and drop.

Exceptional for Visual Collaboration, Minor Navigation Hiccups

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite serves as a digital whiteboard space, allowing multiple users to collaborate seamlessly at the same time. The feature that allows session leaders to guide participants by having them follow their cursor is incredibly helpful, especially since it lets facilitators guide new users around the platform. This is particularly valuable because we often have several users unfamiliar with Lucid, and having one or two experienced facilitators able to guide them through is essential. Moreover, I like the flexibility offered, where participants can opt to follow the leader or navigate independently. This functionality not only enhances collaboration but also helps in effectively onboarding new users by guiding them through pre-built content for sessions. Overall, it supports our workplace's collaborative needs efficiently, especially for training and project design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the scrolling mechanics in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. The need to use a right-click from the cursor to navigate the space doesn't feel intuitive. Instead, the scroll wheel is set up to zoom in and out rather than to navigate around. I would prefer if the scroll wheel were used for moving around the space rather than zooming, maybe with a different function, like a shift-scroll, for zooming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite as a digital whiteboard for collaboration, enabling multiple users to work together on projects and design training resources. It facilitates leadership to guide users, making it ideal for training new users and ensuring collaborative project design.

User-Friendly Tool for Seamless Presentations

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's user-friendly interface, which simplifies the experience significantly and doesn't require much technical knowledge to operate. It is excellent for creating charts and ensures that the details remain clear and visible without clumping together, even as more charts are added. Transitioning from PowerPoint, I found that the quality of the outputs in Lucid is superior, as it provides more space for adding multiple charts without reducing the content quality or visibility. Setup was incredibly simple; I just logged in with my Google account, and I had immediate access—a process that was quite straightforward. Overall, Lucid has been a great solution for our presentations, solving previous issues we faced with PowerPoint regarding clarity and capacity when handling detailed chats. I'm very satisfied with how seamlessly and beautifully it allows us to create and manipulate presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product helps create charts efficiently without clutter, maintaining visibility and quality in presentations.
