Great for Visual Planning, Needs Better Performance

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows me to easily sketch out network diagrams, map device configurations, and outline infrastructure changes without the need for specialized design skills. This simplicity in creating clear and readable diagrams significantly aids in visually planning system updates and communicating these plans effectively to non-technical teams. The tool breaks down complex network setups into understandable visual formats, reducing confusion during planning. Also, the initial setup was straightforward, enabling me to quickly sign up, join my organization's workspace, and start building basic network diagrams almost immediately. The straightforward interface is particularly beneficial, even for new users, making the transition to using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite quite seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the network diagramming tools to be quite limited, which often forces me to create or import my own icons since the default library doesn't cover all the devices we use. Additionally, working with large diagrams can become sluggish, making it challenging to map out full infrastructure layouts without having to break them into smaller sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create clear network diagrams, simplifying complex setups and facilitating communication with non-technical teams. This reduces planning confusion and improves project approvals.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for my database design and architecture work because of its default designs, which make it easier for me to quickly select templates for effective database and MVC architecture modeling. These features cut down the turnaround time significantly, streamlining my workflow. Additionally, the parallel collaboration feature akin to Figma, especially through Lucid Spark, enhances our team’s engineering retrospective sessions. This makes sharing ideas in a single document efficient and collaborative, ensuring everyone’s thought process is understood clearly. The ease of initial setup, aided by a demo from the Lucid client team, added to the suite’s accessibility for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions to edit documents aren't displayed clearly. I had difficulty pasting a picture in a document, and the owner of the document couldn't find the option to enable it either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to effectively visualize complex architecture and database design, facilitating better collaboration and understanding of team ideas, thus improving turnaround time with its templates and Figma-like collaboration.

Streamlines Early Design Communication

  • November 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps me communicate complex product ideas early in the development cycle. It allows me to quickly sketch out system architectures and show how components interact, which aligns engineers, designers, and manufacturing partners before we invest time in CAD models or prototypes. The suite provides a shared visual reference that reduces misunderstandings between engineering, product, and manufacturing teams by giving us a common framework during brainstorming and planning sessions. I find it invaluable for visualizing prototypes and system architecture, which streamlines coordination across my cross-functional team early in the engineering process. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and intuitive, enabling me to create an account, join my team's workspace, and start building system diagrams within minutes without a steep learning curve. Most of the tools felt intuitive right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I run into with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that complex engineering diagrams can become visually crowded quickly. Managing spacing or layering requires more manual effort than I would like. Furthermore, I wish Lucid offered more engineering-focused templates, such as prebuilt system architecture blocks, electronics schematics, or standard mechanical flow diagrams. This would save me from recreating common elements from scratch each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map out early product design concepts, improving team alignment on system layouts and component relationships without CAD models, reducing misunderstandings and enhancing cross-functional communication.

Streamlines Marketing Workflows with Ease

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map out marketing automation workflows, visualize campaign structures, and coordinate cross-team processes with sales and product, which helps me keep complex multichannel campaigns organized and easy to explain to stakeholders. I love how it untangles complicated marketing workflows involving multiple tools, teams, and approval steps, providing a clear visual way to show how campaigns move from concept to launch and reducing miscommunication. The feature I appreciate the most is its easy-to-use drag and drop interface that allows me to build clean, professional workflow diagrams without needing any design background. This makes mapping campaigns simple and is incredibly helpful when presenting processes to stakeholders who prefer visual explanations. The drag and drop interface is especially valuable because it lets me build and adjust campaign workflows in real time during meetings, allowing for quick rearrangements, adding new branches, or highlighting dependencies, which makes collaboration smoother and helps teams understand changes immediately. The initial setup of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was very easy, allowing me to create my account, join my team's workspace, and start building campaign workflows right away without needing any training or setup guidance. Additionally, I regularly use it alongside HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Asana, with Lucid helping me visualize campaign logic before building it inside HubSpot or Salesforce, while diagrams are often attached to Asana tasks to provide teams with a clear picture of the executed workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that large, multilayered workflows can become overwhelming on a single canvas, particularly when mapping out complex automation logic. This can make it challenging to maintain clarity and organization. Additionally, I wish there were more marketing-specific templates, such as prebuilt campaign funnels or lead scoring flows. Having these templates would save time and effort by allowing me to avoid building structures from scratch each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map and organize complex marketing workflows, reducing miscommunication and improving cross-team coordination with clear visual representations.
