What do you like best about the product?
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite stands out because it seamlessly combines free-form brainstorming with precise, professional diagramming, letting teams move from early ideas to polished workflows in one platform. Lucidspark enables collaborative whiteboarding, while Lucidchart adds structured diagrams, data-linked visuals, and automatically generated org charts, process maps, and architecture diagrams. Real-time multi-user editing, comments, and integrations with tools like Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Microsoft make it especially strong for remote or hybrid teams. Its versatility—supporting everything from simple flowcharts to complex system architecture—means it can replace multiple separate apps, reduce friction, and keep teams aligned visually throughout a project’s lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is a bit sluggish when working on very large or complex diagrams, and some advanced features are only available on paid plans. The interface can feel overwhelming for beginners, and adjusting shapes or connectors precisely can be tricky. Additionally, because it’s fully cloud-based, it doesn’t work well offline or with a poor internet connection.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solves the problem of fragmented communication and disorganized workflows by providing a single platform where teams can brainstorm, visualize, and execute ideas collaboratively. It replaces juggling multiple tools like sticky notes, whiteboards, spreadsheets, and diagramming software by combining free-form ideation with structured, data-driven diagrams. For me, this means I can quickly map out processes, design systems, or plan projects with clarity, share them in real time with teammates, and keep everyone aligned. The visual nature of the platform helps reduce misunderstandings, speeds up decision-making, and makes complex concepts easier to communicate, saving time and improving overall productivity.
Effective for Education but Needs Refinement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it allows my students to collaborate on projects. And I also love the way it lets me check in on other teachers. I found some really useful mind maps on topics that I've been teaching. Seeing what other educators are doing, especially if they're making mind maps so interesting and so detailed yet accessible, has been really useful for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like it's a little bit clunky, and when it messes up on my map or a graphic organizer, it really messes it up badly. I feel like the intuitive part of the AI, in terms of organizing the information in clear and logical ways, is not quite there yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create engaging visuals for my history classes, organizing complex content into mind maps and graphic organizers. It helps my students collaborate on projects and lets me see useful resources from other educators.
User-Friendly Design
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely user-friendly. This is the kind of program you can use once or twice, set aside for months, and then return to without experiencing any difficulties as a returning user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some difficulties when layering different items and/or crossing items with arrows since sometimes the program will automatically link items.

This tool enabled us to map out a complex process, which made it easier to identify potential solutions related to timelines.
Ideal for Design Thinking and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I used Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for my design thinking class, and it really helped for tasks like empathy mapping and stakeholder mapping. I liked that there were templates because, when we did this in person, I was always forgetting what a journey map looked like. With Lucid, I can follow my friends around when they're sharing their work, which makes it easier to know what part they're on without having to hunt around. I also like that I can put the entire design thinking process on one document instead of having 10 different posters on my floor. The dynamic sizing is nice because I don't need to open old documents to see past ideas. The initial setup was very easy; I navigated the platform within minutes of creating an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI was not that great. One time we decided we had no idea how we were supposed to put our design, test iteration loop with lots of ifs/thens together - it was highly theoretical, and we decided to put the whole thing into the AI and it wasn't perfect but we didn't know what we wanted either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to collaborate anywhere on design thinking assignments. It offers templates to quickly start projects, dynamic sizing for easy process overview, and allows project sharing without physical sticky notes.
Real-Time Collaboration and Powerful Visualization Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is real time collaboration and there a lot of tools that help with visualization like flowcharts, org charts, etc. It’s good for brainstorming and more structured diagramming. It also seems very secure as well
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit hard for beginners but it can be taught and learned. The more complex diagrams have a paywall so accessibility is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me build a Gantt Chart for my project I’m doing so that I can complete my Senior Design project efficiently.
Super Easy Program for Creating Excellent Visual Representations: Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite
What do you like best about the product?
It is my second time using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite under a different role in a different organization. Currently, I like how it is easy to drag each opportunity onto a live visual funnels and diagrams to spot hot deals at a glance via project pipeline Kanban allocates by Lucidchart. In addition, we (teams), stakeholders and clients are able to collaborate in one central repository via virtual whiteboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has never been any challenge even when I was using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite from my previous organization as a Sales Manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity across all business units in my organization increases daily through rapid projects executions which get enhanced by Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.
User-Friendly with Minor Zoom Annoyances
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is. It's easy to understand and offers lots of icons to choose from. The initial setup is also very easy, which is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hmm the zooming in and out function got a bit annoying at times as it would zoom in too far at points.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes my assignments easy to understand when they require a flow chart.
Effortless Storyboarding and Seamless Image Arrangement
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to lay out all my storyboard images and rearrange them.

I have zero dislikes. This program works exactly how I need it to.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is to use and adjust. It's way better than any other process tools like Canva I've used. I really appreciate its user-friendliness.

It has really helped me cut down on the time spent creating these visual designs and makes them look more professional. I appreciate the ease of use and the already created templates, which allow me to get my work done faster, quicker, and with better quality. The user-interface is friendly, making it easier to find what I'm looking for rapidly. The initial setup was also very easy and self-explanatory.

Maybe have more training videos/tutorials. Showing expert users make incredible visuals and training beginners on it.
