Plant Manager Views on Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite Usage - Opinion Based on 2 Yrs Expertise
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is a vital program that is used in all business units in my food & beverages organization. I like that it offers virtual whiteboarding and intelligent diagramming tools separately in two applications (Chart & Spark).
What do you dislike about the product?
I only disliked that I could only edit three recent created spark boards and all the others were only view once when I was using the free tier, but I upgraded after few days to Team tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff scheduling is one of the benefits that I realize with Lucid employee shifts management and real-time communication via Lucidspark.
Effortless Mind Mapping and Seamless Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The tool stands out for its simplicity, making it easy to create mind maps whenever needed. I also appreciate the ability to collaborate with others on the same file, which enhances teamwork and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I haven't found any drawbacks yet. In my experience, this is a solid product for visualization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform makes it easy to stay aligned and communicate effectively. I find it much simpler to share visuals instead of having to explain everything with words.
Effortless Access to AWS Icons Enhances Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that I can use the AWS icon directly from their library, without having to upload it myself or manage it manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to get hands-on experience at first, but with time, you will become proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly all my AWS architecture is been designed on Lucid and it has become easier to do collaborate between teams
Effortless Flowchart Creation with Lucid's Drag & Drop
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for a variety of purposes, like creating explainer YouTube videos, PowerPoint presentations, and Instagram explainer videos. The best feature is its price point, starting with a free plan, which is perfect for trying out without worry. It's great how it allows even beginners to build beautiful charts without having to write code, which was a challenge with other tools like PlantUML and Mermaid. These tools, which lacked drag and drop features and felt outdated, now seem cumbersome in comparison. With Lucid, creating beautiful and elegant charts and diagrams becomes way easier thanks to its drag and drop capability and user-friendly design. The initial setup was a breeze—just sign up and start using it. The suite is so fantastic that I'd rate it a 10 on the recommendation scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel there's nothing much to dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite as they are doing a great job improving the user experience. However, having more components specifically for cloud infrastructure design charts and diagrams would be a plus point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows drag and drop creation of charts and diagrams without coding, unlike PlantUML or Mermaid. It's beginner-friendly, easy to use, and has an appealing, modern UI.
Streamlined Team Collaboration and Professional Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how seamlessly Lucidspark and Lucidchart work together within the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. It allows me to start with a brainstorm using Lucidspark's sticky notes and voting features to sort ideas, and then easily transfer those concepts into Lucidchart for professional UML diagrams. The dedicated shape libraries and automated line routing in Lucidchart saved me hours on formatting, making my project look clean and credible. I appreciate the powerful import/export capabilities, especially being able to import data from my code to auto-generate professional diagrams like ERDs or sequence diagrams, which is a huge time-saver. The setup was incredibly easy since it's web-based, requiring no downloads, and we could start immediately after logging in through our university emails. I also enjoy the real-time collaboration features that allow my team to see the same virtual whiteboard simultaneously, helping us get team alignment quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is great, I think the learning curve for Lucidchart's advanced features is steeper than necessary, especially when trying to customize shape libraries. Also, the cost, while justifiable for a business, can be a major barrier for individual students on a budget once the free trial ends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite handled miscommunication, documentation mess, and time constraints in my graduation project, offering a shared visual space and fast, professional technical diagramming with Lucidspark and Lucidchart.
LVCS: Excellent Experience with Lucidchart's Premium Features Now in Civil Engineering
What do you like best about the product?
As Admin Asst in a Civil Engineering Organization, I oversee daily operations such as setting up projects and processing proposals. With Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, I create flowcharts for each document, permit and a stakeholder sign-off before launching the site. Sharing these flowcharts as a view-only with consultants is another great aspect since we keep track of project progress and mark them when completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started with a freemium version and it wasn’t the best option for me since I couldn’t use mobile applications and also teamwork templates were locked on Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid allows me to keep live spreadsheets of contracts and suppliers on the vendor map. Mapping equipments needed such as cranes and scaffold via Kanban in one place is another benefit of using LVCS.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very clean and has a clear interface which is very easy to understand. In fact, it's great at what it's created for, i.e creating flowcharts, and i like the volume of different options you have for adding the small details, either via hidden notes or large bodies of text, a mix of linking to other documents. I also like the option to copy and paste, and import data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing charts between different folders could be easier as other meeting participants often struggle to find the right document on Lucid when discussed in a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The flexibility and ease of use are what sets it apart from the rest. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite speeds up things, the diagrams are easy to draw with predefined library items. The library of icons and elements are big enough and i like how it makes the work fast and efficient.
Effortless Collaboration with an Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to navigate and collaborate with team members. The interface makes working together straightforward and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many templates come with numerous pre-filled elements, so if I only like part of a template, I have to remove the rest myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use it for creating diagrams and workflow charts. It allows me to quickly draft visuals to present to my team, helping me illustrate a point, statement, or concept effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the backbone of every HR initiative in my current Advertising industry. My role as a PCBP, Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite plays a major role when it comes to mapping employee-experience journeys by sketching onboarding and off boarding processes with flowcharts and sequence diagrams.

Even my overall rating depicts that I have nothing that I like least about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.

Through Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite I am able to pull data from external HR tools such as BambooHR turning them into dynamic diagrams to have accurate view of our leadership in my organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very helpful when multiple people need to come together and be on the same page. It has provided a very simple way of mapping out difficult process flows between departments. It is extremely easy to understand how to use it and quickly generate results and i like how it generates process flows that are easy to interpret.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a few years I have been using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, i haven't yet encountered anything challenging so nothing to dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is capable of capturing simple process flows yet at the same time it can map out the entirety of a manufacturing process. I also like how it provides all participating parties working on a project with extreme clarity.
