What do you like best about the product?
IT IS VERY INTUITIVE AND EASY TO USE, PROVIDES A LOT OF INFORMATION AND CAN BE AUTOMATED
What do you dislike about the product?
MISSING SCRIPTS AND SELF-INSTALLING PROGRAMS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UPDATES AND THE POSSIBILITY OF SOLVING PROBLEMS REMOTELY WITHOUT CONNECTING TO THE TERMINAL

Easy to use product with the best customer service I have experienced in a long time!!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is for me and my team to push applications and write scripts. Coming from a Connectwise shop this RMM is much easier to manage than Automate ever was!
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not so much of a dislike as it is that I want the Ninja Backup Solution to be able to spin up backups in the cloud as a BDR solution. But I do know they are working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are successfully patching, managing, and protecting all of our endpoints with this solution. It is filling most of our gaps in our service delivery as well.

Ninja is awesome!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the scripting ability. Other RMM solutions don't let you make scripts in Powershell, Batch, or any. I can write what I need when I need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alerting can be overbearing sometimes (like most software that alerts) but its a really good solution, and other MSP's I know envy us for having it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Ninja to do multiple things like Remote Desktop Access, Server Backups, Endpoint Monitoring. We configure parameters about our computers based on scripts, and setup alerts around those. Like Antivirus not being installed, NIST Blacklisted software being installed, but mostly being able to access the machine via Powershell and Command Prompt from "the backend" without the user knowing is soo helpful.

Ease of onboarding combined with clever features makes NinjaOne easy to recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
There is such a wide range of very useful tools that can be automated; it is hard to pick what I like best. Is it that it takes less than 5 minutes to set up automation, such as restarting a specific service on an end user's machine if it stops? Or is it the quick and easy way to detect and remove bloatware? Perhaps it is the clever way they use WOL to start machines that need to be worked on or patched after hours? If I had to pick, what I like best is that NinjaOne saves our team a boatload of time working on end users' machines every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
As hard as it is to pick one thing I like better than the rest about NinjaOne, it is harder to pick out what I dislike. If I had to pick one thing, it might be that the built-in script for installation is excellent for setting up onboarding machines to run the script once, but it is less easy to set up a script to install an uploaded installer that is not in a policy and is quick and easy to pick from the run now list. As it stands currently, unless I am missing something, you have to re-upload the installer each time. The rest of NinjaOne is so slick and fast to work on machines; this stands out because it takes longer than a few seconds of clicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne provides a cloud-based alternative to MDT and on-site patch management servers while reducing the complexity and maintenance overhead of said servers. It also allows us to view and troubleshoot problems at a glance proactively, rather than waiting on tickets to be submitted by users.

Great Idea - Not Such Great Execution

What do you like best about the product?
Consolidation of useful tools in a single place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is cumbersome and, in many cases, quite counter-intuitive ... specifically searching for things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSP, we rely on Ninja to manage our endpoints and deploy patches, as well as other administrative uses.

Game changer! Customer for Life!

What do you like best about the product?
I have much to do and a small team - this gives me the leverage I need. And even does so much for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the features are added so fast I can 't keep up and the buttons and links just get thrown all over the place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy cost effective backups - fills the gap on user compliance data recovery that are hard to fill. I have remote users and remote techs and this makes it easy to all get to one place.

Fantastic solution for viewing and addressing all your resources under one dashboard

  • May 02, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has a glanceable, informative dashboard that gives me a heads-up on where my systems are status-wise. Additionally, remediations for issues are conveniently located within the notification area, so an admin doesn't have to navigate through an entire product to start addressing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built-in application catalog could use some flushing out. Chocolatey, as an integrated workaround, seems to be a useable stopgap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management for devices in production that were not properly deployed before my tenure at my present company. Not only is it useful for one or two rogue machines, but it spans across multiple operating systems. The ability to set policies for these machines is a huge boon for a startup that is still getting it's IT sea legs settled.
