Great Product for Remote Management

  • July 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great product for a medium sized company. It has a nice user interface that is easy to use and understand. It has a nice feature set such as patch management, the flexibility to use multiple remote management tools, and built in community discussions and guides to help with getting features working or learning how to use the system in its fullest capacity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is the one area that NinjaOne seems to be lacking in. There a few standard built-in reports but they are not the mosy useful. Also, the reporting capabilities on device performance such as CPU usgae, memory, and hard drive space are lacking in how far back they go. It would be nice if they showed longer history for troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to have all of our endpoints in one system and allows us to manage them all within one platform. It also allows us to have patch management enabled and controlled all within the same platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I have come from a background in DattoRMM and Connectwise (formally Labtech) Ninja is the easiest to navigate for the most part and is very intuative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like backup management (backup plans and scheduling) could be improved. I would also like to see more features such as live screenshot like Screen Connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One pane of glass for management of endpoints is crucial in maintaining a proactive IT enviroment. I save countless hours each week that I can put into self education

Great RMM

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick responses by support. Great account manager. I like that they are continuing to expand capabilities and have roadmaps published. Overall a great experience. It was very easy to implement. Backups and restores work great, and there are no additional agents to install regarding backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it does not have Linux backups built in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into the network assets; is great for inventory purposes. Patch management is easy to manage and works great. Convenient for remote access/support when users experience issues. Endpoint management is made easy and it includes monitoring and alerting.

An IT RMM that suits our team's need

  • July 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage and navigate unlike any other RMM tool.
The Ninja Dojo also helps us a lot during the testing up to the migration.
Issues were resolved immediately with the help of our account manager
What do you dislike about the product?
The migration from an old Ninja platform (manage by 3rd party) to our own NinjaRMM seems to be a pain. We tried to follow what was in the dojo but unfortunately some machines are lost in the transition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our requirements were catered by the NinjaOne tool. The OS patching , Asset inventory, Ticketing system , Remote support, among others were put together in one tool to avoid the confusion of using multiple tools.

A whole new grip on our Infrastructure - Remote Freedom

  • July 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We can now securely monitor and access our whole fleet of laptops & PC's from one location. Rolling out updates, patches and software has never been so easy!

We considered a few other options, however NinjaOne had the best in the business, seemless and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently no mobile management software.

As a company with such a large amount of mobile phones and tablets this feature would save us a great deal of time wasted as we currently have to use TeamViewer to provide support to those users.

I am told that they are currently beta testing this feature and we should have it one day. We need it now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company with in-house IT, it used to be easier to walk to the problematic device and deal with it in person.

Now we're utlising the ticketing system as well as supporting all these users remotely.

MSSP Usage of NinjaOne

  • July 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has been an extremely reliable platform with an active community. Also, their support is quick to jump on a call with us which is extremely important at keeping customer satisfaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside of using NinjaOne so far is the lack of MacOS support. However, recently, there have been more features added to this. This is not a huge deal as we mostly work with Windows/Linux environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne allows us to declare every system that is in scope on each of our customers. It also allows us to quickly get answers on every machine that we are responsible for.

Overall Positive Experience Using NinaOne Software

  • July 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful aspect of using the NinjaOne software is being able to remote into a user's computer for remote support. I find it very easy to use the Splashtop remote software and can easily assist my user's when needed.

I also enjoy the ability to place all of my computers in various different operating units such as servers or various business locations.

EDIT* We recently faced the challenge of no longer using Splashtop due to an extra charge that techs would have been paying. In response to this NinjaOne took to the task of creating their own software, "Ninja Remote", to allow technicians to remote in to devices still. This software was rolled out quickly and worked smoothly and has truly helped continue to allow us to support our remote employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few downsides that I've come across when it comes to NinjaOne but one of the issues that I've run across the most is the lack of ability to force download applications. I've enjoyed making the switch from PDQ Deploy and Inventory but I would prefer to have a more simplistic way of forcing applications to install onto computers such as we had when utilizing PDQ Deploy. There are way to download applications but I have not fully explored this aspect of NinjaOne yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are heavily supporting remote users and we are able to utilize the Splashtop setup through NinjaOne to manage and support these remote computers when needed. We've recently been utilizing the Ninja Remote software for our remote support of users. This has been an extremely invaluable tool that helps with remote support and file management and transfer as well.

We are also able to utilize the backup features to control various backup schedules for important computer users and server equipment.

Currently NinjaOne is helping us with Patch Management on our computers that are in our local location and remote locations.

Great experience with NinjaOne

  • July 18, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
First off, NinjaONE's Account team and Support have been great. It's easy to partner up with a company that has a great team inside to support you. For the RMM product itself, it's made maintaining devices that are not in the office at all super easy, as long as that laptop has an internet connection our IT staff and do anything we need to to fix an issue or inventory it. The remote registory and remote powershell are huge time savers and made our life easier. Patching was another issue we faced with all devices in our fleet. Now that we have NinjaONE, all Windows updates go down monthly without any interaction from the IT staff. CUs are set to auto approve and install. It couldn't get more simple.

Third Party patching also has been a huge help to us getting vulnerabilites closed quickly. with a combination of Ninja's built in 3rd party app support and some easy powershell scripting of MSI files, we are able to keep the fleet up to date.

Overall the RMM tool and the Patch Management has been great for us. I would recommend NinjaONE for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't really even a dislike, it's more of something I would like to see improved in the future. I'd love to see Ninja's 3rd party update support grow to cover more applications. I'd also like to see some MacOS 3rd party patching support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaONE has helped us with Asset Management, Remote Management and Patching. Having all these tools in one pane of glass and at a great price point save time for our IT staff.
