A Must have for remote offices

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has made managing remote staff and devices so much easier for us. The step by step instructions and the Ninja 'Dojo' community made it very easy to roll out. The first thing we install on any device is Ninja so that we can make sure that is getting all of it's patches. My technician and I use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say, I think that it works really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a hybrid BYOD and company owned environment. We are able to make sure company devices and employe owned devices meet our specifications and can easily troubleshoot and provide support if a problem occurs.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that ninjaone is easy to use. For example if the end user cannot find the name of the computer. I can look up the computer by using the username. I enjoy the way will install applications on a computer or group of computers. The ability to update teh computers with a patch policy. Easy to keep track of the computers we have and the ability to monitor devices
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like writing scripts. Never been really good at it. Sometimes the remote tool (Teamviewer) will not remote in and will have to have the end user start it up. Or with a Mac I would sometimes get a grey screen and cannot see anything to assist the end user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Another way to remote into the computer. Called Quick Connect is something that will help with computers not currently in NinjaOne

My Experience with NinjaOne

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to group organizations together. I also enjoy the number of features such as Teamviewer, and powershell access to clients machines. I'm amazed how easy it is to integrate NinjaOne into our machines it really is a painless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is how it used to be so easy to push out an update to an application and set it to run in the background without needing user interaction. I don't like the new system that has you upload the update into ninja and then push it out to a client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An effective ticketing system that helps make it easy for users to contact us with a problem as well as keep in touch with other techs on a specific ticket, as well as making it easy to quickly and conviently access our end users devices if necessary.

NinjaOne makes my Life Easier

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja is an incredibly easy tool to deploy and let's you manage all aspects of your computer environment simply. The absolute best thing about their product is their constant attention to updating their platform and releasing new features. The community is also very active and our account manager has been there every step of the way to make us feel like a VIP client.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things to dislike about the product. One issue we encountered was that we used to utilize TeamViewer but ended up transitioning to Splashtop because of some integration outages that kept re-occuring between Ninja and Teamviewer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja is fantanstic at patch management both for OS updates and third party software. It offers us cloud backups for our servers and specific client PCs with snapshots and easy restore features; set a schedule and it just works. The remote support tools using Splashtop have been effortless. Generating IT asset information is a quick CSV export; although baked in reporting could offer more robust templates. We also utilize the ticketing and knowledge base systems which help us keep all of our IT management tools in one place. Email alerts and notifications and the ability to flip alerts into tickets is also incredibly valuable. Having all of this in a cloud-based platform just eliminates the need for another VM or two within our environment which I always appreciate; 2 factor authentication helps keep it all secure.

Best decision we could have made

What do you like best about the product?
Ninjaone gives us team an easy to use tool to do our day to day business.

With other (outdated) tools it took a long learning curve for our techs to understeand the RMM tool and have a benefit.
Because of this sometimes we missed out on oppertunity's to automate things we wanted to do and save time in our install base.

Also if we noticed an improvement in for example a monitoring item we would put it on a todolist to improve it "sometime later" because it took more time then it should need.

With Ninjaone it is so easy almost everyone in our team imidiatly is able to change this and improve our tool.

It is easier for us to write install scripts for third party software and utelize the documentation fields to automate the custom values we need for specific customers (for example an API key or a customer ID that needs to be passed on to a script), so it is easy to integrate other tools.

Also (windows) patchmanagement works way more realiable then other tools we used before.

Other RMM tools require long onboarding processes where you pay for a lot of consultancy fee to get the tool running, Ninja gives you unlimited onboarding included, but to be fair, you wont need much, because once you get the concept you get it running realy quickly, the implementation was really easy.

And the most important things, you notice things are going forward, there is a constant development in the tool, there are releases for small fixes and for big changes, product managers engage in discusions about what we as the customers would like to see, and there is a lot happening in the areas they want to extend to, and they want to improve.

Ninja is our main tool that we use everyday to help and support our customers and we couldnt work withouth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things i would like to see improved, one thing is longer data retention, the metrics for the devies values (like disk usage etc) are not that long stored, for a few customer enviroments this is important so we log them to another tool, it is something that ninja is working on but not yet available.

Third party patchmangement is an external tool they integrate, and that is beiing improved, the software list is a bit outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quickly and efficient manage our customer endpoints, because of that our teams work more efficient.
Also we have a better way to do our work.

Excellent complete and reliable RMM system with BEST Patch Management

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Patch management is highly functional.
The rapid support, formally QuickConnect , helps us a lot for occasional support tasks.
The roadmap includes many new features and you can also insert new ideas to submit to the development team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative to report to date but I wish there was support for viewing PROXMOX hypervisor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have centralized management and can intervene proactively.
Furthermore, a documentation tool (also for passwords etc...) and a ticketing tool is integrated.
All of this was previously managed with 3 different applications by our company.
