Great App!
What do you like best about the product?
Ninja has been great so far, it's fast easy and customizable. The Dashboard provides a quick and simple glance at all managed machines moving around between machines and companies is straight forward with minimal time invested. The mobile app allows me to manage and view alerts when not at a computer. The integration with our ticketing software allows us to track incidents and inventory for all of our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not run into anything that I feel needs further improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for patch management and AV deployment. Ninja quickly sees and notifies us of issues with AV, hardware, and other software.
PerfectRMM for us
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use so we don't need to spend resources on training how to use it. The pace of development is amazing. Features being added constantly to bring new functionality and enrich our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are still less developed or missing than some of the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and scripting has cut down our manual administration significantly and the reporting is a key sales tool for visibility of old devices or devices with issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up and use it. If there is a feature missing that you want have a look at their roadmap, i'm sure it will be there soon!
It's the simplest and easiest RMM that I've seen

Excellent RMM for an Excellent Price
What do you like best about the product?
As a long term Solarwinds customer I'm glad I made the switch to Ninja. Once you get used to their interface it's easy to navigate and has most of the features I need in an RMM. The real big thing to me is how good their support is. Every time I have a question I always get a knowledgeable support tech on the line and I've never been left hanging. All in all it's a great product in the RMM space.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides other than that at first it's just different and takes some time to adapt to their interface if you've spent years in another RMM. Give it time and this downside fades away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get all of my IT management needs under a single umbrella which is huge to me. From one dashboard I manage monitoring, patch management, AV, backup, remote support and automated maintenance all in one spot. I save a ton of time using Ninja.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a trial and try it in your environment and see if it suits your needs. I think you'll be surprised.
Game changing RMM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ninja RMM has helped our MSP us better manage our growing customer base while providing us with the peace of mind client networks are being properly maintained and monitored.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not had many issues with Ninja RMM so far. If anything the company is younger than most RMM platforms but funny enough I find that to be an advantage since they are constantly adding features and improving their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to have eyes on all clients servers which helps us a lot since before server drives would die without us checking or the client paying for your manual backup check service. Ninja allows us to monitor networks at a fair price to us and them. It also allowed us to use the TeamViewer integration to disable all RDP access for a much more secure remote tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If anyone is looking at NinjaRMM vs other RMM platform keep in mind they are still adding features that some of the bigger platforms may already have. NinjaRMM has already added apps like iOS/Android mobile apps, additional security options to add more layers of protection to their platform, streamlining their overall dashboard, added a more robust community help site and so many more features! Even this week they are adding more features that we have been looking for! They really do seem to listen to the community when it comes to adding features people want.
Upgraded to Ninja from Datto/AEM
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about our switch to Ninja from our previous RMM product is how it boils down the essence of the RMM platform. All the features you want are front and center with very easy configuration methods without umpteen other features, settings, etc getting in your way like with other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using Ninja for roughly six months currently and honestly do not have any dislikes to speak of. The product is very solid, integrations with our other tools are tight and the few times we've needed help or had questions the techs at Ninja answer the phones very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our old RMM product, Datto, was not properly pushing patch management policies. This left the machines we managed in a poorly patched state. Was this a problem with how our patch policies were setup? We don't believe so as we followed Datto/AEM recommended settings for patching and trying to figure this out with Datto/AEM support was a headache.
We switched to Ninja and the patch management policy is so powerful yet simple that the patch management alone made the switch to Ninja RMM worth it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
They offer very competitive pricing and flexible terms to those looking to join them. If you are tired of your existing provider call Ninja and ask if you can get a trial. We read through their getting started guide but honestly the interface and product are so intuitive that we likely could've figured everything out in an afternoon just by poking around.
Ninja has great tech support
What do you like best about the product?
I am impressed by how consistent the Ninja interface is to use! It helps me keep ahead of support requests from my clients in a way no other RMM has done for me ( I’ve used 4 so far)!
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a lot to Ninja. I have to admit I have not had time to self-train on all the features. It would be nice to have regular training sessions. OOPS! After I wrote this, I called my rep at Ninja and found out how easy it is to schedule a training session with a tech. I just spent an hour with Ethan and now I have a much more complete understanding of Ninja's capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I provide regular maintenance and problem solving to approximately 100 desktops and 5 servers, by myself. I think that speaks for itself. Update: I am now moving all my clients to MSP mode (I was a hybrid before), and Ninja is becoming a critical part of that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. You’re missing out otherwise.
Very very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the new features a TON. The remote command prompt, remote registry, and file browser has been vital. I use them all daily. The layout is easy to use and the colors are easy to read. Our account manager Chris is ALWAYS on the ball. He is FAST and always has answers for our problems. If we throw him a curve-ball on something he doesn't know, he finds out. We have never had an account manager who was this good before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have issues with Teamviewer syncing passwords. The biggest issue is the inability to blacklist an update by KB. For example, last month there were 3 updates that came out and broke printing for the majority of our clients. We wanted to blacklist the 3 offending updates but the only way was to wait for it to come up then blacklist it from the ninja control page. Why not type the KB #'s we don't want and just blacklist them across the board like that?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned, the remote tools have been vital. The ability to deploy scripts and silent install applications have also been very useful. The third party patching was a great sucess.
Great Patch Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaRMM is a great patch management solution. What I like the most about it is how lightweight it is, both on the client-side and the back end.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the inability to do any type of on premises deployment to reduce update bandwidth during patch deployments. Since NinjaRMM uses the existing Windows Update locations, if you are deploying patches to multiple machines on the same network you can start to cause some bandwidth issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces the amount of time I had to spend creating deployment packages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a lightweight cloud-based solution that requires very little setup, this is the solution for you. I would highly recommend this for anyone who manages a lot of laptops and a mobile workforce. But, if you are looking for an SCCM replacement where you can fully vet and test every patch and create custom deployment packages, this won't really work for you.
Great for the Price
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup. Easy to use. Good documentation. Option to bundle Webroot and TeamViewer at a VERY reasonable price. Does what we need it to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very rarely, we'll have a system stop syncing with TeamViewer. I've spoken with them and I'm told that issue will be resolved soon. Another thing that is more of an inconvenience than a con...You are required to have 2FA enabled to make configuration/policy changes. Overall, these are minor and don't significantly affect the use of the product or my recommendation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a solution to bundle remote management and patching, antivirus, and remote control. This product does just that.
Ninja is incredible.
What do you like best about the product?
We use Ninja for our business everyday and we could not function without it. It does everything we need, with 0 down time. Running scripts is simple, the tech support is fantastic. Updates are often.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything I would like to see a standalone 2FA app, rather than having to use google authenticator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja makes my job easier. Allows remote deployment of scripts commands, remote task manager is probably the coolest thing I have ever seen. AS for problems I have solved it is mostly distancing and information. Makes customer data collection and storage a cake walk.
