NinjaRMM makes your life easier

  • June 18, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
We as a company love the remote options! It doesn't matter from which device you use you can access to your workstation very easily. MFA options are also great. Furthermore it's fantastic that we had the option to add Bitdefender licences and Teamviewer licenses to our contract.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be very nice if we you can manage our licences from diffrent softwares with NinjaRMM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The remotedesktop configuration for the enduser are very easy to setup. The tasksystem also working very good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is possible that in the future we have another pandemic and we have to work from home. With NinjaRMM every company is possible to make this happen very easy. Every admin would love to have a tool like NinjaRMM to make his work easier.

I would not be able to support clients without Ninja

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Ninja for a while and it has made life so much easier. During lockdown I have still been able to support clients check and apply patches and jump on and give remote support using the excellent Splashtop remote control software.
It is fantastic value, support is great, whenever I have had an issue or a question the support team have responded quickly.
I really like the fact that they are constantly updating the product adding new features and being 100% cloud based means they do all the heavy lifting and we just get a fantastic product.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for linux, but they have advised this is coming in a future release. The third party tool they include for pushing out software is ok but doesn't support the installation or quite a few core products, i.e. MS Office, but does handle the patching!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create different patching policies for different clients/devices makes it a very flexible solution, so much better the WSUS.
Splashtop remote control is excellent no lag and no requirement to have a user present at the machine to accept the remote control session, and from a privacy perspective the end user receives a clear notification when you are connecting to their machine.
The dashboard view is intuitive and even with multiple customers/sites it is simple to see what clients require no remediation and which are waiting for patches, reboots etc.

Very easy to use and intuitive. Very clean UI.

So far I have yet to experience a downside to using the RMM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again very easy to use which allows training time for staff to be much quicker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you know what antivirus and remote software you want use

NinjaRMM has transformed the way I work.

What do you like best about the product?
TeamViewer integration makes remote fixes incredibly easy. Proactive monitoring keeps me ahead of problems. Fewer surprises mean fewer urgent calls rearranging my day. Ninja keep my clients organized and easy to access from one central place. So much information all at my fingertips, with an easy to install client-side program.

****September 2024 update: NinjaOne has continued to outstrip all expectations. I use it every day and my whole business is essentially centered around it. They are consistently innovative and provide excellent value and powerful tools. When I heard they were making their own remote control tool to replace TeamViewer, I did not expect much of it. Tried it anyway, and I'm totally blown away. Not only does it do everything TeamViewer did for me, it does it better and faster. Absolutely top-shelf professionals providing top-shelf professional tools to the MSP. Can't rate them highly enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few growing pains early on, but the Ninja team has stepped up and owned the problems every time. Things are considerably smoother these days. Everybody has trouble from time to time, but how they are handled reveals the character of a company. I'm glad to partner with Ninja.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients are much better organized. I can pop in and fix an issue or assist a user from wherever I happen to be. Many problems are handled before the client knows there is trouble. I keep my clients happier, and the relationship is better with the excellent management tools Ninja provides.

Tried them all. NinjaRMM is the best all around!

What do you like best about the product?
Pricing, reliability, support, and customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not really a dislike, but the integrated cloudberry backup could allow more features. However, I've become less of a cloudberry fan over the years, and that has nothing to do with Ninja, or their integration.

I would love to see a PSA developed out of Ninja, since most RMM solutions are starting to include one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. Benefits are across the board. Accurate alerting, that doesnt require a full time tech to silence nonsense, and filter alerts. The update's work. I havent found an RMM solution where the updates truly work. The scripting.... Oh my god the scripting is fantastic. That also "just works"!

Another benefit for us, was that the pricing was clear, and affordable. It made our package pricing incredibly easy to setup, and clearly define what's included with our clients. Other RMM solutions offered alacart pricing, and in return, made us uncertain what to offer, causing us to under price our product/service, and lose money.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it now. You lose nothing by trialing the product.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of use and all the great options that we integrate with
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about NinjaRMM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With COVID-19 and businesses moving towards working from home NinjaRMM has been able to help us with the resources for our clients to be able to work from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best decisions I made to switch over to NinjaRMM

Finally a product that's easy and made by people that care

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja was so easy to setup. It's fun to tweak. The scripts are simple and there are even some basic templates. It tells me everything I need to know about a computer and what's going on.

The integrations have been a huge help. Their documentation is precise, easy to follow and accurate.

Our account manager actually cares and checks in on us every 2 weeks.

Good vendors are so rare, no matter the product. I'm not really sure I could love this product and this company any more than I do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The NMS deployment is slightly clunkly. I would like Ninja to bring that in house too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage an in-house IT department and we always struggled with tracking hardware, history, and status.

No matter what we found, we just couldn't get one that was accurate and easy to keep up to date.

Ninja just DOES it. I don't have to think about it. I know all my machines in Ninja and the latest info on them is all right there.

This makes our network more visible, trackable. My team solves issues faster, more accurately, and in a happier way than ever before.

Less than impressed

What do you like best about the product?
Update: This product was solid, but the support staff either grew to big or less interested in helping customers, as the customer support experience has gone to shit. Our account manager is the only light spot in our relationship but sadly she has no power to make the support team function. I was a hue fan of this software, but after the past 3-6 months of poor technical support, it's time for us to move on to another RMM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technical support was great, but has gone to shit in the past 3-6 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tech efficiency. Allowing our team of techs to see what's important to them on their dashboard -- not having to filter through a lot of noise. Also, the integration with our PSA is great, and continually get's better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended for use as primary RMM.

Great RMM tool for many different needs

What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use interface; responsiveness, courteousness, and knowledge of support staff; easy to understand flexible pricing model
What do you dislike about the product?
Lagging behind competitors in number and breadth of features, but the gap continues to close
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Administration of our remote workforce laptops; remote connectivity for IT support agents; reporting tools for inventory tracking

Best RMM Tool to date - and just getting better.

  • May 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - We are able to manage 250 devices per tech under the ninja platform. Importing scripts is easy, and you can open shells against systems (ps and cmd) very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The latest version of the teamviewer integration, but screenconnect integration is around the corner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While I was driving on the road - A client called with an urgent request to reboot 2 servers in sequence. I was simply able to pull over, and from the app, push 2 reboot commands to servers and was back to driving within minutes. They have not only built a solid platform, but were able to do so with all the technical fixings of the other RMM tools without sacrificing speed and ease of use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial it - you will find that is much easier to both manage, and use to support your clients. Even script importing is easy since it doesn't use its' own script engine, you just upload whatever you have and name it.
