Always surprising me. Always useful

  • November 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The scripts, and conditional scripting. Being able to set scripts to run based on when conditions are triggered has saved me a ton of time. Customer support is always quick to respond, our account manager is quick. The fact that Ninja is not only constantly putting out new features, but also has a visible road map of what's being worked on, what's coming up, and allows users to submit ideas and vote for what's important to them is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real dislike I have is that the scripting that pulls information from their documentation section could be laid out a little more clearly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our patch management with Atera was atrocious. Since moving to Ninja, we have a significantly improved patch management record, and we have a dashboard that tells us how things are going at a glance. When a client asked if updates were being completed, we were able to use Ninja's built-in reporting to show them that they had 99% patch compliance across their devices, and the few failures were things like printer drivers, and not important updates.

Being able to push not only scripts, but applications through Ninja is a huge benefit. With Atera, we couldn't upload a file or an installer for it to push out, so it was impossible to do some of the things we're doing with Ninja.

Pros and Cons

  • November 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The automation capabilities and support excedes well above any other product I've used (Kaseya, SolarWinds, LogicMonitor). Integrations into our ticketing system (Autotask) and anti-virus (SentinelOne) were also simple and made pushing our applications and updates to all devices simplified.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot to learn and understand to maximize the full use of the tool. Just a little time consuming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm big on automating as much as possible, and this allows us to do much more than ever before. The biggest assist is for our helpdesk and being allowed to spend more time with our clients, assisting their needs, and finding more time to educate themselves to bring better service to our customers.

Very good experience

What do you like best about the product?
Device management and user assiatance functionality
Integrations allow you to streamline the items within the platform and make the implementation and daily usage of the platform really easy to manage.

Their customer support and care is priority and they always bring a positive attitude to any issues.
We use their platform daily!
What do you dislike about the product?
The patching items around 365 could be improved, but that's largely down to 365 itself not NinjaRMM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of the above purposes. It consolidates them into one, easy to use platform that has helped massively

NinjaOne gets my vote

  • November 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use RMM. So much better that Kaseya in terms of use. Management policies are easy to setup and apply. Scripting is done with PowerShell not some cryptic proprietary language. I use it every day and mange of 600 devices. The alerting features of Ninja is superb and integrates with Auotask.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation from the actuall RMM/customer list to the administration portion of the customer account is a bit clunky with the navigation and could be improved. I do not encounter this each day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to better support our customer and allows us to be proactive with support.

Endpoint Management, Patch Management and RMM

  • November 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The endpoint mangement makes it easy to see every machine that has been added to the platform. It's simple and easy to use even when adding new machines. Every Tuesday it patch management and it let's you know what machines are still pending and require a reboot. The RMM feature makes it easy for our engineers to help out our customers around the clock. The application intergrates well with a lot of our other programs.

Ninja takes my vote for the easiest implementation across all platforms that I have tested in the past. For an everyday product it has worked perfectly in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike because even the customer service is spot on when helping me troubleshoot things that don't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The new features like Mobile Security/MDM and intergrating Bitdefender is amazing.
