NinjaOne Thoughts

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja has provided an excellent product that executes the idea that you shouldn't overcomplicate your tools. It is a simple tool that you could set up solo even without their fantastic onboarding and that cuts right to the chase providing all the RMM functions any IT team or MSP would need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is the cost. Compared to some other RMM tools it can be slightly more expensive at scale but remains competitive and is still worth the cost/benefit to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us solve the problem of managing endpoints from different industries and companies. Ninja provides a simple UI that allows us to easily managed vastly different workloads from virtual machines to phone systems (if its running Debian)

What do you like best about the product?
The support and setup were very easy and helpful. It has solved a lot of our issues that we have had in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it would be able to support Mac's better. I feel like it lacks a bit in that sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a patching solution that works with our PC's. They were not receiving updates until now.

What do you like best about the product?
I've compared a few RMM/MDM suites, I've found the Ninja products perform best, and the vendor and commnity support is top-notch. I get fast responses from Ninja reps, support (not that it's generally needed as it's a just-works product mainly), and the commuity on their forum and Discord is excellent. Particularily the script sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were recent issues with patching, but the company has really stepped up and addressed it in a serious and timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monitoring of hundreds of desktops and servers, integration of a serious EDR platform, showing us all insight we need on our environment in one clean dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitive nature of NinjaOne. You can really hit the ground running. The training resources are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I haven't found anything that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to NinjaOne I used a variety of tools each with its own set of quirks. NinjaOne provides an all-in-one platform to assist my clients with their various IT needs.

Patch Management, remote support. Implementation was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
MDM can be better. Not all functions of the iOS policies work but was told it would be fixed or implemented in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch managment, remote support.

Great RMM Platform, even better people

What do you like best about the product?
Product team and sales team are both very responsive. Service is easy to configure and use. You can tell that tools are created by folks who have done the job for folks currently doing the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I work in an internal IT department so some features are clearly more focused on MSPs, can add complexity in how I configure things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing OS and software patches. Connecting to remote systems. Alerting to problems before they become issues to users.
We had some windows updates cause issues for our business every so often, before Ninja we had no reasonable way of testing and pushing out the updates and reverting when something whent wrong.

The RMM that you are looking for

What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about NinjaOne is the agent that gets installed on the computer. It is extremely easy to install and starts reporting right away. Once the initial sync has happened when you issue a command it starts within seconds. I love that I can share access to the computers with my clients at no additional cost. Additionally it's awesome to have a great audit log for those clients when they want to see who is using the platform. My rep, Michelle, is always available during business hours and even responds occasionally outside of business hours. I use this platform all day every day and couldn't imagine going back to managing my clients without. Integration with 3rd party vendors works great! I am using integrations with teamviewer, webroot, and cipp.app. If you are on the fence, get a demo!
What do you dislike about the product?
New features to the platform can be lack luster at first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to provide consistent and reliable patching to all of my clients. I am also able to connect with my clients wherever I am with NinjaConnect and walk them through a solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Storage pricing is very high by industry staandards, but we have backed up and restore many images with little issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a wqy to support a large number of endpoints from various companies in one portal

Quality Product & An Excellent Community

  • February 06, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Moving to NinjaOne was from our old RMM was an easy but exciting experience. The product is simple to use, well documented, and the NinjaOne Discord is brimming with the brilliant and helpful folks. I think the best thing about NinjaOne is the passionate community surrounding it. When our team encountered a few challenges during deployment people in their Discord were practically tripping over eachother to help us. The tool itself offers the flexibility we need to manage things our way without compromises. Our team loves the scripting engine in NinjaOne and how it accepts multiple languages, as well as the integration with other tools such as ScreenConnect and CIPP.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still a bit young compared to more seasoned offerings. There are some niceties that have not yet been developed and occasional bugs, but nothing unacceptable. Truly not much to complain about with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne functions as our primary RMM. It monitors for specific conditions and executes automations to remediate them, and generates tickets in our PSA if technician intervention is needed.
It allows us to patch systems, deploy software, and conduct general fleet management with or without an MDM in-place.

RMM Partners

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne go the extra mile to make sure that you're successful as an MSP. It is great to know you have a partner that is available to help you!
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little. There are a couple of minor UX issues that would make the product even better than it already is. These things could just be personal opinion though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne provides us with the tools we need to successfully manage hundreds of endpoints per technician and provide excellent support services.
