Easy Policy Configuration

  • August 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way policies are configured for very specific groups of devices. Makes it very easy to discern production systems from other systems. Setup of systems was very easy. We setup all 100+ devices very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the backup system is not somewhere where we can use it. Without linux support it is not very useful to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is solving patching, and the ability to ensure that all of our workstations and virtual machines are following our machine requirements (i.e anti-virus, encryption, etc.). This makes management of over 100 devices much easier and viewable.

What do you like best about the product?
As a user of NinjaOne, I like that it is invisible and out of sight on my system. I also like that it makes system update reminders easier for my system administrator to provide to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since installing NinjaOne, I have noticed slower performance which did not happen before NinjaOne.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing our system administration team to provide remote security updates to user sytstems.

Life is easier at an MSP.

  • August 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne makes life easier as an MSP because it allows for: Quick Endpoint Managment, plenty of "info at a glance", ease of use when running scripts against multiple devices, and it allows for easy remote management overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne has been pretty good overall. The only issue I sometimes have seen is when the agent will become unresponsive and we have to manually uninstall the agent via PowerShell removal script. Ninja Remote also sometimes has issues with resolution (could just be because the app is still "new" however).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing for device management on a large scale. Making it easy to keep track of endpoints and manage them remotely.

One of the best RMM

What do you like best about the product?
I am using NinjaOne as a single business and not an MSP. It works well for our environment. Windows and the most widely used 3rd party Software packages are updated automatically on my requested basis. Winget is close to release so pretty much any piece of software will be readily available for automated install and update. They are continually adding new features and take end user suggestions seriously.

It was easy for me to implement this in my environment. I installed the agent on a DC and I was able to integrate the install into a GPO and the rest was automated.

Support is wonderful. They are responsive and easy to work with. There is also a dedicated Discord server for administrators of Ninja. It is an active community with people working together on both NinjaOne and non-NinjaOne items alike.

I use the remote access tool everyday to assist my users with issues. I can remote in, have access to admin tools and transfer files over the internet, if needed.

Price point is great and I feel you get a great value for the cost. I would highly recommend Ninja to anybody looking for Endpoint Management or an RMM Tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MDM side of Ninja is still in the early phases of implementation. It is not as fully featured as a mature offering like Jamf or Mosyle. Though, they are actively adding enhancements and making it better constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small IT team, NinjaOne has allowed us to Automate so many repetative tasks (software installs, updates, monitoring) so we can focus our time and effort on more manual tasks.

Using NinjaOne is like having extra IT staff to take care of things before they become an issue.

What do you like best about the product?
With NinjaOne, I can set up monitors for critical machines and processes. For example, if a machine is using up more than 90% of its memory and CPU, I will get an alert listing the top processes running and using the resources. I also like how easy it is to connect to a users machine when needed to diagnose and fix issues. If all I need is to connect to them and enter a password, two clicks and I am there.

I also like the Help Desk and Documentation features. They took no time at all to set up and save me quite a bit of time when I need to take care machines that are remote. The System Tray Icon make it easy for users to communicate with the help desk. It took no time at all to intergrate that into all of my users machines.

On the rare occasion when I do have to get support, NinjaOne tech support and the NinjaDojo are there to help. The support videos are extremely helpful.

Needless to say, that NinjaOne is the first thing I log into every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to NinjaOne is that it is set up more for a Managed Service Provider that a single user with many departments. While it works great, some of the menus and scripts have to be adjusted to suit the single user. This is probably the most minor of issues and I am happy to say that I have found my own work around and everything works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne has allowed me, as a one person department, to do many things at once. I am able to use the remote features to access machines on the other side of town when I used to have to take a drive and loose productivity time.

NinjaOne a lifesaver

  • August 14, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy to install and intuitive RMM system that allows us to control and customize our environment. The base systems were simple and easy to set up, while allowing us to maximize scripting tools to automate and ease the burden on deploying workstations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit of a learning curve and adding new systems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to manage and maintain high levels of security standards on our computer.
