Unauthorized charges, lack of communication, and unsatisfactory resolution

  • April 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our organization initiated services with NinjaOne in April 2023. However, we have not utilized or perceived tangible benefits from these services since the contract began.
What do you dislike about the product?
In March 2024, prior to the first renewal period in April 2024, our designated primary contact for NinjaOne left the company due to layoffs. Consequently, our use of NinjaOne's services ceased at that time.

The service automatically renewed in April 2024. Due to the timing of the personnel change and internal transitions, we did not provide cancellation notice before this renewal occurred.

The service automatically renewed again in April 2025. We understand the renewal notification email to the former primary contact's deactivated address failed. Critically, the designated secondary contact was not notified of the impending renewal before our payment method was charged for the 2025-2026 term. Notification to the secondary contact was only received after the charge had been processed.

Upon contacting NinjaOne to address this charge for a service unused for two years, we were informed that a refund or cancellation was not possible due to the contractual notice period requirement. After explaining the circumstances, particularly the notification failure for the 2025 renewal, NinjaOne offered a 50% refund limited to the most recent (April 2025) renewal charge.

Given that the services have remained entirely unused since March 2024, and considering the failure to properly notify the active secondary contact prior to the April 2025 charge, we find this resolution unacceptable. We are seeking a more equitable outcome than a partial refund for only the latest renewal period, especially as we have already paid for the unused 2024-2025 term.

Great for endpoint management

  • April 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the live powershell feature. It also does Windows updates well. It's a great tool for agile organizations that need to move quickly to react to customer problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It becomes less relevant in endpoint management if you have intune. It still can be very useful; however, much functionality becomes redundant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously heavily used to manage our endpoints, was game changing. Now, we use it for server monitoring and updates.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne offers a clean and intuitive interface that makes managing endpoints straightforward. The automation capabilities are excellent, allowing for streamlined patch management, scripting, and remote management. The integration with third-party tools is seamless, and the support team is responsive and knowledgeable. The platform is lightweight yet powerful, making it easy to deploy and scale across different environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While NinjaOne excels in many areas, the reporting features could be more customizable, and some advanced monitoring capabilities feel limited compared to competitors. The pricing structure may also be a bit steep for smaller businesses, especially if you require additional integrations or features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne simplifies endpoint management by providing a centralized RMM platform that automates patching, monitoring, and remote support. This helps reduce manual workload and ensures that devices remain secure and up to date. The seamless deployment of scripts and automation tools allows us to proactively resolve issues before they become major problems.

For our IT team, NinjaOne has significantly improved efficiency, reducing time spent on routine maintenance while increasing visibility across managed devices. The lightweight agent ensures minimal system impact, and the intuitive dashboard makes it easy to navigate and manage multiple environments. Overall, NinjaOne helps us deliver faster, more reliable IT support while improving operational productivity.

NinjaOne - Great Deployment tool for Software and patches

  • March 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We really appreciate the API capabilities of NinjaOne. This will allow us to integrate NinjaOne in to our other managed systems. Also the ability to set custom fields which can be used as triggers in Compound Condition is making the platform very customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited support for MacOS. No extensive self-support capabilities for end-users. Windows patching is reliant on the Microsoft catalog offering for pushing out patches, no caching of older KBs possibilies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy accessibility to Endpoints over the internet which does not require the device to be connected to our Network. This will allow us to troubleshoot and remediate remotely. Faster patching and software deployments due to this.

NinjaOne – The ultimate RMM solution for MSPs: Efficient, intuitive, and powerful!

  • March 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
"7 at one stroke" (German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm – In a figurative sense, the phrase means that someone overcomes many challenges or tasks in one go or with a single action.)

1. Particularly convincing was the quick onboarding and the intuitive action options for a secure and swift operational deployment.

2. By combining NinjaOne with the expertise of Indasys's IT technicians, essential services could be provided efficiently and promptly.

3. The added value from the simple execution of support activities was immediately apparent.

4. Thanks to the cloud architecture, secure, mobile use could be quickly ensured.

5. Organizational roles could be implemented easily and precisely.

6. The integration of a central management directory for template-based rights management also proved to be particularly simple.

7. The support from customer and partner support is pleasantly uncomplicated.

As an MSP with comprehensive service for endpoint management, NinjaOne is currently one of the most valuable supporting tools to meet customer requirements at the highest level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still very desirable integrations missing, e.g., Intune, GPO management. The priority for the basic installation of MAC-OSx instead of Windows operating systems is not helpful for our needs. To really take off with NinjaOne, we especially need the alternative to MS-Autopilot for the basic Windows installation. The market for MAC-OSx base installation in Germany is extremely small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What is a problem? NinjaOne Solving and how do you benefit from it?* ????

A problem is proxies that NjO must penetrate for client communication. The multitude of URL allowances are sometimes very difficult to incorporate into rules, especially if you are not the admin of the proxies. Teamviewer is an example here for remote connections that is easier to use.

Good Experience With NinjaOne

  • March 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very flexible and easy to use. Feature-rich when it comes to things an MSP needs to manage endpoints on a day-to-day basis. It's been stable, and gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a few blips with the remote access tool, but typically you can just retry after a few minutes and it works. Once I had a more consistent issue with it, but I opened a support ticket and it was resolved quickly with a few easy steps. Works fine since.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use NinjaOne for endpoint management, remote support, backups, and more. When managing large numbers of endpoints across multiple customers, you need a tool or set of tools to do all these tasks. NinjaOne has all the features we need, works well, and provides quality support when needed.
