What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of great features in JumpCloud for the price point - MDM, IAM, Password Management, SaaS security, Zero Trust. It's a powerful set of tools and JumpCloud is iterating very quickly.

There are a few features that are lacking in comparison to competitors, but workarounds exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has benefited us greatly in the areas of MDM, compliance, password management, and SSO.

excellent product, a great ally

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of management, the large number of integrations, and the technical knowledge of professional services members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing. I think there are areas that could be improved, for example, suspended users are billed. Another issue is the lack of a free tier for some products that allows for testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized management of devices and login to them.

Remote server management

  • May 29, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to manage the servers of my organization and have a clear view of what is working and what is not. The organization I work for is a network of gyms, so if something is not available, it directly impacts the company's profits.
What do you dislike about the product?
The disadvantages are the delay in creating the remote tunnel between the client's machine and the host machine. But I believe it's because the software is a web application; I believe that if it were a native application for the platform, it would be more fluid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps me solve software and network issues related to servers and branch machines in my organization. I need all machines and services to be working perfectly because if they are not, we have impacts on profit. In our organization, a quarterly analysis is conducted where we evaluate these requirements, and JumpCloud has been helping to solve these problems that directly impact our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
As every MDM tool the possibility full visibility of all devices on the org. Besides this the fact of including password management and saas management in 1 tool is Super.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. At the beginning i struggle a little bit to fully understand the way it works but now I'm good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me a lot to have a better control on Indiecampers laptops. Specially because until now every latop had the same name and we change this because of the arrival of Jumpcloud.

Great MDM service for Mac

  • May 29, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can directly add policies to Mac like restricting device upgrades. The interface is nicely laid out and enrollment is really easy. I love the ability to add a remote login for myself or my boss instead of the default local admin account we add. There's been a few times where the local account was there before I got hired on here and the password I have isnt working so I add my own account and am able to help the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jumpcloud does not play nice with our BeyondTrust PMC software. This software prevents users from installing apps that are not company approved and instantly approves ones that we do like. It's easy to turn it off though, I open a command line and go into an authentication file and temporarily disable JumpCloud long enough for me to install a software, then re-enable it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I don't know the password to the local admin account, I can use JumpCloud to add my remote account to the user's computer and login as an administrator. Also, I can add policies that restrict users from upgrading to the latest Mac OS before all the bugs have been worked out.

Best tool for remote/hybrid companies.

What do you like best about the product?
Secured, featured reach and without limitations. We've been using JC for 7 years now and we can't live without it. From Cloud directory (sync with EntraID and Google) to MDM, jumpcloud has it all and is constantly adding new features: SaaS management, Trusted devices, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome if it would have a compliance section to consolidate evidence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote working security made easy. Secure controls with Trusted devices only. Passwordless logins. MDM for Mac, iOS, Windows, Androud and Linux. Patch management. conditional access policies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it

Useful and practical

What do you like best about the product?
We use JC at my organization to sync users' local credentials with their Google Workspace account. At the start we hit a few snags as we were learning to use the tool but the support provided by JumpCloud's team was instrumental in getting our users enrolled. Our organization mostly uses M365 so we only have a few users on JumpCloud but they are able to sign in every day and reset their passwords with little to no issue. The integration is very simple as well, all you have to do is send the user an invitation and have them click on a link.
What do you dislike about the product?
We accidentally synced every user in Google Workspace in Jumpcloud and were being charged for almost 200 licenses when we only needed 9. It would be nice if they were to implement a warning to prevent that from happening, and make it easier to remove users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to a merger, our organization is split into two, where one half of the users are on Microsoft 365 and the other half are on Google Workspace. Previously we were creating Microsoft accounts for everyone, even those who mostly used Google because it was the only way we knew to remotely manage and sync their logins. Once we discovered JumpCloud, we were able to reduce the licensing fees from Microsoft by offloading those accounts. Now the users in our other company can be onboarded with just a Google account. It reduces our workload and makes things easier on end users since they have fewer credentials to keep track of.
