A highly versatile and easy to use, jack-of-all-trades platform

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a highly versatile and easy to use jack-of-all-trades platform that I use for a number of things including SSO, MDM, IAM, Cloud ADIUS Auth and more
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud plugs into a number of things, they fall behind in some key areas including easy to use reporting and analytics, Mac and Linux MDM, and JIT provisioning with vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even with its quirks, we use JumpCloud to support both ourselves and a number of clients on a daily basis. It serves as our primary cloud interface for SaaS management, MDM and IAM

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud for MDM/device management and as an authentication portal. I like that it helps keep employee devices secure and consolidates access to some third-party services for internal use. It stays out of the way of users, letting them do work while providing helpful insights and keeping the company secure. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud keeps employee devices secure, consolidates access to third-party services, and provides helpful insights. It stays out of users' way, allowing them to work freely while maintaining company security.

All-in-One Console Simplifies Identity and Device Management

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One console for identity, device management, SSO, MFA — no need for separate tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Device management isn't as robust as Intune, Jamf, or Kandji — lacks advanced policies. Built-in reports can be shallow; often need to export or use API for detailed analytics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud consolidates what used to require 3-4 separate tools — directory, SSO, MDM, and RADIUS. For a small IT team, having everything in one place saves us significant time and reduces complexity

Identity and Device Management Made Easy, but Reports Can Improve

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I believe that JumpCloud works well in solving my problems related to identity management and device control. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to create and execute commands remotely, as well as the identity management and policy enforcement aspects. The initial setup is extremely easy, requiring a basic level of technical expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I encounter many limitations when it comes to the issue of reports. I cannot clearly visualize reports related to the application. Reports on machines with disk encryption and machines assigned to many users are difficult to understand, and I cannot extract clear information, such as which user is actually using the machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for identity and device management, especially without a domain controller. JumpCloud helps in executing commands remotely and applying policies, which solves my problems.

Outstanding Efficiency and Support, Compatible with Multiple Platforms

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has a very simple use and is very efficient in resource usage on both Windows and Linux machines. Additionally, their support staff has helped us a lot and they respond effectively when tickets or support cases are generated. This makes the process more manageable and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been observed on some occasions consumption with some versions of Mac OS, which is the operating system of the MacBook Pro or the IMA machines, and yet this has been addressed with the provider and, well, we have worked hand in hand to resolve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps deploy security policies regardless of the team's location. It serves as a model for authentication and management of external teams, facilitating the management of remote teams and simplifying their communication.

All-in-One IT Management Made Simple

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is that it pulls a lot of the core IT plumbing into one place things like identity, SSO/MFA, and device management, so it’s genuinely simpler to run, especially for small to mid-sized teams with remote or mixed OS environments. I value how well it works across Windows, macOS, and Linux, and that it can replace or reduce reliance on traditional on-prem directory setups without becoming a huge project.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is mostly around polish and consistency: the UI and workflows can feel a bit clunky, some features are broad but not as deep as should be and you can run into occasional agent or policy-timing quirks that take time to troubleshoot. But overall it’s a strong “do a lot in one platform” option with a few rough edges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is mainly solving the “too many tools, too little control” problem across identity and devices. Instead of juggling a directory, separate SSO/MFA, and different device-management approaches for Windows/macOS/Linux, it centralizes user access, authentication and endpoint policy in one place. That benefits me by tightening security (consistent MFA, least-privilege access, faster offboarding), reducing admin overhead (one console, fewer integrations to babysit), and making onboarding/offboarding much faster and more reliable.

What do you like best about the product?
Asset management is the best part of JumpCloud as it helps me see all my organization's inventory in one place. I like that it allows me to manage identity, device, and application access all in a single console. The initial setup was really easy, making it convenient to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The security part is missing in the JumpCloud portfolio.
