Fantastic Identity and Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a one stop shop for identity and device management. The cross platform features make it super flexible too
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more advanced MDM capabilities, such as larger pkg limits and more options for running scripts, similar to Jamf Pro's policies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JumpCloud to sync identities between cloud directories and local computer logins
Intuitive look at cloud-based directory and more
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to navigate the control panel, create users, add devices, etc. You also get many options on adding devices so you can just install exes or run linux cmds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really not a lot to dislike so far. It would be good to have Microsoft Authenticator work with the SSO but it's not a dealbreaker for the application. Still other SSO applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have Windows, Apple Devices, and Linux so it's really nice that I am able to manage all of these from one cloud-based platform that keeps them all secure as well
Very intuitive and easy to understand
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's web interface if very easy for anyone to get up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free up to 10 users, but once you add the 11th user, you go from free to the cost of all 11 users, which is a bit of a jump.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily manage users logins.
Simple to use even for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud makes it dead easy to manage OSX devices even for a small startup without a dedicated IT department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, so far there isn't anything that I dislike. Any limitations that I've found so far are probably more related to constraints of the OSX ecosystem rather than any downside related to JumpCloud itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are simply managing our OSX devices so that we can unlock and reset devices (e.g. Macbooks) as needed. We haven't tried other solutions, but this seems to be one of the easiest and most reliable, while also providing a wealth of more advanced capabilities if we need to use those.
No IPv6 Support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform seems straight-forward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no IPv6 support at all. If you use v6, you cannot use this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed single-sign on and basic device management, including radius support for our network.
5*

An amazing alternative to AD

The only thing that I would say I dislike is that sometimes the logins for MacOS bug out. Not sure why.

We went from having no computer management and control software to Jumpcloud, and it has been super easy and helpful. Increased efficiency tenfold.

What do you dislike about the product?
I got locked out of a machine while trying to get it connected and had to do a system restore. It was my fault, but I don't see any way I could have avoided it without learning from my mistake.

JumpCloud helps me maintain control of the devices that I assign to my remote employees. It also gives me a central location for managing devices and that is already saving time.
