Maturing nicely
What do you like best about the product?
transparency of process, development and direction by the team provides me with the confidence that I have gotten on the right train at the right time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Likely to see some pricing shifting as maturity grows which can be problematic moving forward as budget and tooliong is assessed and commited early on in our process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A centralized hub for multiple organizations within our estate allowing management at a macro level leaving the majority of management in the hands of the studios. We enable company-wide policies and allow the individual orgs to administer and enhance if they desire.
Great product for initial IAM for pre-enterprise clients
What do you like best about the product?
Allows for rapid, initial user management for servers via its included agent or LDAP capability. The new user interface has an excellent experience. Remote command execution is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is excellent for early-stage businesses that don't yet have enterprise SSO systems in place. With that being said, it loses value once more complicated security tools need to be implemented, thus making it somewhat obsolete. This only matters once you reach an enterprise stage, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User IAM for a data center cluster. Remote command execution helps do ad-hoc management across arbitrary sets of machines. UID/GID consistency across the cluster prevents permission conflicts across NFS.
Easy to manage user access and device management permissions
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use from Admin portal and also user portal. You manage the list of the users and devices easily. Complete centralized platform to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have the ability to all the permissions and configurations on the Linux servers. But that wouldn't stop using this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Granting access to users on the centralized platform.
I don't have to grant permissions to devices separately.
I don't have to grant permissions to devices separately.
Excellent product for companies going remote
What do you like best about the product?
Features are equivalent or better than current active directory and easily manageable for multiple tenants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with apple products could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing multiple clients to go fully remote without losing security/manageability.
Jumpcloud review
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy jumpcloud has been to use and get started with. It's very easy to show others as well. I love being able to manage everything easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it was slightly more in depth with the tools you're able to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to do a lot more with my network as well as manage my other devices
Practical 1 button login system
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to centralize all logins without requiring password management
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to uninstall of a machine that no longer is going to be used for work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for security
Incredible features and solid solution for cloud directory
What do you like best about the product?
I like directory features. No reliance on any on-premise or self-hosted directory infrastructure. The interface is simple to use and navigate. We can deploy and control systems in seconds from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
MFA is limited compared to other alternatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Jumpcloud for user management.
Best IdP
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is easy to manage, I recommend it to every customer when I'm asked about an IdP they should leverage for SSO. Plus I love the T shirt y'all sent me before super comfy. I wear it when I do my presentations on how to configure SSO :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much that I don't like from Jumpcloud. I wish you guys had an easier way for account switching, but other than that I don't have any problems with the platform. It's by far the most consistent and easiest to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jumpcloud for SSO testing, I also use it when I demo our product and how to set up SSO with Bitwarden. We don't use the full-feature set, but I can absolutely see myself leveraging the platform more as the need arises.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jump on board!
Great Integration for Small Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Allows for different clouds authentication to be integrated into a single portal/platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting from devices should be more streamlined and integrated into a Central LMS and follow the industry best practices of storing that information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits have been increased by reducing the time and cost of having to key into different systems the same information.
Overall product functions as expected.
What do you like best about the product?
Once everything was setup using the interface was straight forwards
What do you dislike about the product?
Not fully functional with Apple products, I haven't looked to see if that has changed as I haven't had a need to add any iOS devices in the last while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jump cloud has allowed me to securely wipe devices that have been misplaced as well as locate them if they have been stolen
