  • March 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easier to deploy than any other solution. Easy to manage. It's just easy easy easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, maybe there could be live terminal feature rather than pushing commands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing about 60-70 linux servers and with the Jumpcloud we don't have to mess around the SSH keys or creating users manually on linux hosts. Besides, it is very affordable.

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage devices. Since most of the companies prefer assigning devices to users right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far, I'm still exploring the best use cases for Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of cloud directory service, since I don't need to setup another server for our directory service, it is ceonvenient to have cloud-based directory service nowadays.

A good concept with too few features

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The synchronisation with our IdP was easy and integrating our RAS worked seamlessly. The pricing of JumpCloud is in comparison to their competitors quite affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The LDAP-as-a-Service didn't work and after chatting 30 minutes with a support agent there still wasn't a solution. In addition, the customisation and branding options are very limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud would have helped us managing internal and external users and their access to internal services. Furthermore it would have extended the configuration possibilities in comparison to Google Workspace.

Simple User Access Management

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Managing user access across different platforms and resources can be a headache, but JumpCloud has made it incredibly easy. With its centralized directory service, I've been able to manage user access from a single platform, without needing to switch between different tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two separate login pages for admin and user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying new servers and remembering to add the correct users is a pain. Also when we hire a new employee, making sure they have the access they need.

Tool Very complete and needed for every IT admin

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
single cloud-based console! Can reduce the complexity and cost of managing IT modern workplace. It also provides robust security features, such as multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and auditing and reporting capabilities, which can help organizations protect their sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer to have a community based script for the automation that every IT admin can share with other around the world. This would help a lot to be compete as the other leader of MDM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well manage device easly without doesn't invest lot of time on configuration activities on Windows or Apple IT policy. They aggregate all the settings in one console.

Easy way to manage Macs and PCs

  • March 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud allows us to remotely manage both Macs and PCs which is an advantage over most Mac or PC-centric management platforms. With remote work being the norm we can control our assets and project data on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apple's FileVault protection introduces some issues with remotely adding or removing users. While we want the added security of FileVault, its protections get in the way of some of JumpCloud's great features. Another thing is that some of the advanced features of JumpCloud require knowledge of more sophisticated programming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud's ability to add and remove users on a laptop allow us to reuse a Mac in our remote stores without having to ship the laptop back to our office for repovisioning.
