An excellent platform for centralized ITSM
What do you like best about the product?
Vendor agnostic identity management, of course! JumpCloud allows me to manage users and devices across cloud services and operating systems, all in one smooth interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like JumpCloud could do MORE. For instance, with device management, we could add asset and issue tracking. With user management, we could add ticketing with automatic logging of remote support sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an alternative to beefy, costly Active Directory. The value here is incredible. I am certainly more productive because the toolset and interface are simple and easy to work with.
Works Great for remote screen viewing
What do you like best about the product?
I used jumpcloud to trial their remote access features for use in a home lab environment. The software was fast and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that it was too much of a tool for my use case - home lab remote access - it didn't quite fit my needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to use the remote support/remote desktop features to simplify my homelab computer management
The best AD software

Jumpcloud has helped me enroll all my devices in a single environment and have total control over them, always with a dedication to security.
What do you dislike about the product?
That doesn't let you configure commands at the moment, for example, the wallpaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

A Comprehensive Solution for Identity Management and More
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud shines as a comprehensive solution for identity and access management, particularly in a global context. It allows for seamless integration of various applications through single sign-on functionality, supports user access on multiple computers with single credentials, and enforces multi-factor authentication. The ability to push commands via cmd and terminal to support issues with remote users is another notable feature. With a strong focus on security, JumpCloud provides support for enforcing encryption and multiple policies based on user profiles, and serves as an effective mobile device manager across different vendors. The platform is user-friendly, providing easy navigation and robust reporting capabilities, and it's appreciated for its strong support and deployment features. It's also valued for its ability to manage user logging and troubleshooting, making it a versatile tool for a variety of business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its many strengths, JumpCloud has a few areas that could be improved. Some users have noted that the pre-configured settings for single sign-on are not always correct, which can lead to occasional difficulties. Additionally, while the platform supports patching for operating systems, it currently lacks the ability to patch applications, which could limit its effectiveness in maintaining software security and stability. It's worth noting, however, that these issues don't significantly detract from the overall positive user experience and functionality of the platform, as evidenced by its high user satisfaction ratings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, JumpCloud serves as a centralized platform for Identity and Access Management, allowing for the secure and efficient management of user identities across an organization. By integrating various applications with single sign-on functionality, it simplifies the user experience and strengthens security by reducing the need for multiple passwords. This streamlined management of user identities greatly reduces the complexity and potential security risks associated with managing multiple user accounts and permissions, leading to enhanced operational efficiency and improved security posture
JumpCloud is necessary to manage tons of accounts
What do you like best about the product?
At my company, I have to login to a minimum of 10 AWS accounts and countless servers. To do that without JumpCloud managing my logins and aggregating all of them into a dashboard would be next to impossible. It is an invaluable tool for using SSO for many different products and servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard could use a more modern update. It's functional and works for what it is trying to accomplish, but I would love for it to have search (if you have a lot of SSO entries you know what I mean).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of SSO, server logins, consolidating logins, etc. Without it it would be almost impossible to have to login to a lot of products on a day to day basis.
Gives me everything i need for effective asset management
What do you like best about the product?
the console is fairly easy to use, no learning curve. Everything is straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took some effort to instal agent apps on all our laptops. It woked great most of the time, but we had to turn to support in some cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
enforcing security policies
Streamlines the process of user managment
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to navigate and clear to even people that are not IT engineers. I find the ability to suspend from JumpCloud convenient. I also like the simple integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that every user needs to have an account they can access. In my role, I err towards a lot of silent applications so that the end users do not feel overwhelmed and can focus on their job duties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had JumpCloud, there was no portal to see the devices and assignments to users. JumpCloud makes it easy to transfer users, suspend, and onboard employees.
