The security it provides for our mobile devices.

Policy enforcement and security.

Good tool for Mac environments

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This really helped fill a need for our clients with heavy Mac usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are other tools on the market that were more comprehensive and easier to use. If we were a smaller MSP this may have been a great single tool for management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our support needs for Mac environments. Many of the larger tools on the market are built for Windows but not Mac.

Jumpcloud for SSO and MDM

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have found the administration console to be very useful. We use it for both our SSO and our MDM solution. It also works nicely with the other elements of our environment we have in place.
The user console is also clean and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have disliked about JumpCloud has been the limited number of integrations that are already published. Generally, integrating for SSO is not difficult, but it is always a plus when JumpCloud is already recognized as a known working solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A unified SSO solution with our MDM solution. It is a nice single pane of glass. It also makes user provisioning very convenient having both user creation and asset assignment in the same solution.

Great for SSO with local machines and multiple cloud services

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud can handle local user management. Other providers are unable to accomplish this as of yet without another 3rd party vendor. They have good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is the best I have seen for what we need here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of getting rid of Active Directory and JumpCloud is playing a major part in that.

Jumpcloud - A mostley good alterntive to intune

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up and use and how well it integrates into Azure ad and AD. The user dashboard is a nice addition as well. I also like that there is almost 100% uptime
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it doses not tie into Microsoft 365 as a whole and can be very hard to implement if you already have a existing environment in the cloud other than that there is nothing wrong
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tried to implement it however, we ended up going back to all Microsoft as intune had better fetchers than jump cloud but that's not the products fault at all more that it did not fit our usecase

Amazing Solution for Mac Management

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How versatile it is to manage our suites of Mac for both us and our customers.
The abilty to set custom policies, semmlessly sync up with our ABM and to enable Zero Touch Enrolment makes it very useful when onboarding new clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
THe ability to install non-apple store software.
If there was someway we could upload PKG's or DMG's this would make installing propietry software (AV, logging, etc) much easier rather than hosting the software somewhere else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem this has solved is finding a centralised solution to managing our Mac's that also integrates with our Active Directory and Office 365.
Creating policies, and groups for users so when we either hand them the Mac they are all ready to go, or with zero touch, we don't even have to turn the Mac on.

Decreases the time the engineers have to spend on each device.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your looking for a Mac Management solution or a remote working management solution for your company you don't need to look any further

Simplified Cloud management

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I don’t have to worry about staying on top of all the details in o365. With JumpCloud, I’m able to manage my users, groups and access under one simple and intuitive portal. Even has a self deploy feature for new users. I really don’t know what I would do if I had to go back to legacy management with Azure/intune as this saves me so much time!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t think of any dislikes at the moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything! From security groups, device updates, remote support. You name it!

Jumpcloud makes Apple MDM a breeze

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud creates a centralized platform to allow us to manage our growing number of Apple devices. We can push out software, update passwords, apply policies, and security updates with a few clicks of a button. It would be nice if the software packaging wasn't so limited, but it's still better than manually trying to manage these devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to intune, the software packaging feature in Jumpcloud is very limited. You can't create custom packages with uploaded software, you can only use software published online, and it has to be under 500MB
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM for Apple devices, password syncing to AD, software publishing, security update patching, and security policies

Robust, easy-to-use device management with extensive knowledgebase!

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward setup tutorials. Intelligently designed UI. Fantastic self-help knowledgebase and video how-tos. Strong device management and control
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is limited on certain plans--but always helpful.
Sometimes mapping local host (device) names with jumpcloud names can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device management and control for remote workforce. Ability to monitor, manage and service devices across many distributed teams.

Great offering of products

  • June 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the smorgasbord of available services. I use this to test our product's integration. If I were in the market for these services personally, I would higher consider these products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI experience could be better. Lots of clicks to hunt for configuration that could be more easily accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have mutual customers that use our solutions with yours.
