Makes managing devices and users 100% easier
What do you like best about the product?
Jump cloud has made it so much easier to keep track of hardware of different types, from mobile phones to desktop and laptop PCs, all from one dashboard. I can see and manage which users have access to which devices and can have user profiles and software automatically pushed based on user role and device operating system, and if a user has any issues, I can assist remotely to help them solve any hiccups they may have had along the way, it's definitely been a game changer for us
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the initial setup were moderately confusing, I really think having a download link to the client installer and our key right on the main dashboard would make things a lot easier, especially when we were first starting out with Jumpcloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The SSO and LDAP as a service have enabled us to allow our users to use multiple services with a consistent and secure login credential saving a lot of help desk labor. Being able to have software packages and updates automatically install as needed ensures that everyone is using the same software as well as the correct version for a project
Powerful, flexible, easy to use and to integrate
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set the team up with access, integrate with our existing platforms and systems. Default operation is seamless, and admin console gives a good amount of flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot autofill the TOTP code; a minor inconvenience if auth is set up to be shared across apps within JumpCloud. This was more of a pain when we had to re-auth to JumpCloud for each additional app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified MFA and groups across many applications.
Super

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a support IT chief, I can tell you that JumpCloud is a comprehensive cloud directory platform that solves several key problems in the IT landscape. One of the primary issues it addresses is the management of user identities and access to various resources across different platforms, including systems, applications, and networks.
JumpCloud provides centralized user management, allowing IT administrators to easily provision and deprovision user accounts, manage passwords, and enforce strong security policies. This simplifies the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring that the right individuals have access to the appropriate resources at any given time. It also helps mitigate security risks associated with orphaned accounts or unauthorized access.
Another significant problem that JumpCloud tackles is the challenge of managing a heterogeneous IT environment. With the increasing popularity of cloud services, organizations often use a mix of platforms, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and various cloud providers. JumpCloud supports a wide range of systems, enabling seamless integration and authentication across different operating systems, minimizing compatibility issues and streamlining user access.
Furthermore, JumpCloud offers a unified approach to device management, allowing IT teams to efficiently control and secure both employee-owned and company-issued devices. This capability is particularly valuable in today's remote work landscape, where organizations need to ensure that devices accessing sensitive data or corporate resources meet security standards.
By leveraging JumpCloud, organizations benefit from improved operational efficiency, enhanced security, and simplified user management. It centralizes identity and access management, reduces the administrative burden, and enhances overall productivity. With its robust features and cross-platform compatibility, JumpCloud offers a comprehensive solution that aligns with the evolving IT requirements of modern businesses.

Easy to Set up and Use
What do you like best about the product?
With JumpCloud, you can quickly prototype your project with RADIUS and SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything I used is great. One suggestion is if you can add API so that we can set up more automated way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick setup of RADIUS and SSO service.
Jumpcloud is a very stable and welcome Idp
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is an SSO application that works great with a Mac environment! We have had so very few issues when it came to user accounts, credentials, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Windows MDM could be a bit more robust. It's enough to get the job done but can be more intricate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is our primary Identity and Access Manager along with our SSO for all of our platforms. We also use Jumpcloud for our LDAP and sync with Microsoft.
Functional but lacks integration with IAC
What do you like best about the product?
It was relatively simple to deploy to enable server logins on AWS linux servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is cumbersome for defining permissions and adds needless extra admin work of finding, assigning and cleaning up registered systems and users. There are no ways to add jumpcloud to a server and automatically assign users or groups to it using any IAC tool such as Terraform. There is no real way to tie server logins to SAML like competitors offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replaces having to create directory logins or using SSM to manage linux logins that becomes partial SSO.
I recommend Jumpcloud to all of my clients.
What do you like best about the product?
It makes directory management super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's a wonderful platform, and they add useful features all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replaces Premise directory service in a way that just works™
Single Platform managing everything
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the way jumpcloud gives a single platform to manage identities, access and devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the console bit tricky while trying device management, but that might become easy with use and training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently there are very few tools in market that gives single platform for device management and identity management. Also coverage of other tools for apple devices is very less which Jumpcloud is solving for sure
Jumpcloud is an incredible resource for small businesses in the age of remote & hybrid work
What do you like best about the product?
Basically every company needs a way to centrally manage its computer fleet to make sure computers are getting updated, people have appropriate access, you know where company laptops are, and who is using them.
The traditional solution to this would be Active Directory, but that's very expensive for a small business because you need a server a running MS Server, annual licensing, and an IT person to use it.
Jumpcloud replaces all this with a very intuitive interface, great support, and a reasonable and transparent pay-only-for-what-you-need pricing scheme.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's honestly hard to think of downsides, every time I've had an issue, I've been able to contact their support and have very knowledgeable engineers helping me.
