Making Identity Management Easy and Scalable
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud really set itself apart from other identity providers, it is great to start small and scale with your employees over time and get more and more controls through the extensive feature list. The number of integrations is a major differentiator.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit navigating how to get the most value out of it quickly if you're not an IT user, a partner helped this process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving away from the legacy Active Directory
Simple to set up and manage
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is simple to set up and manage. The features covers all that we require. Support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Available logs aren't very useful. It is not easy to export and integrate with our log monitoring tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one tool for user and device management.
Core features function smoothly, yet remote assist lacks reliability. The pricing is somewhat steep.
What do you like best about the product?
I like multitude of features consolidated into one platform. The user interface surpasses that of other tools, and the support is consistently excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud's cost may be higher when compared to alternative options. Additionally, the reliability of its remote assist feature is at a mere 50%, making it an unreliable solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The management of all users and devices is seamlessly organized in one comprehensive central portal. This includes a range of advanced security features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication and conditional access.
Easy to use and quick to learn + deploy
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to set up, both on the backend and also on devices.
Easy and quick to define policies using the pre-set options, and support for doing policies and scripts the manual way.
Useful as an IAM solution with many partially pre-filled SSO app templates.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more deeper information (System Insights) is only available via the JumpCloud API/Powershell tools, not through the web portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM - Main purpose so we can ensure our fleet of devices will be secure and up-to-date with update policies and can enforce updates in case of high risk vulnerabilities in OS or applications.
IAM - As an IdP and SSO tool

Quick setup, extremely responsive support, and effective leadership
What do you like best about the product?
The single best thing about JumpCloud is going to have to be how they handle new client implementation / onboarding. Not only do they provide a live chat support free of charge for your intro period, you receive several follow-ups from actual implementation specialists who will help you get JumpCloud working with your environment.
Beyond that, they do not require user minimums for any of their tiers, so if you only have a couple users, you don't have to pay for licenses you won't use. They also offer an incredible range of security features that integrate (or can be made to integrate) with pretty much any environment. From legacy RDP, to Proxmox, to cloud services, you can integrate it with JumpCloud easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
The higher end features do cost quite a bit per month, but they are definitely the kind of features that aren't required at my level, like compliance, auditing, password management, etc features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to use push notification MFA for applications that do not support it natively, like Windows and Linux logins.
Wonderful Cloud Radius
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has a wonderful pricing with a free tier. Jumpcloud has a cloud radius solution which is useful for our network.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium support should be offered to registered nonprofits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have a server on-site to use as a radius network server, JumpCloud has a cloud-radius solution which affects us with a solution that we can use for our network authentication.
Fantastic Tool for Large Company
What do you like best about the product?
I really love the access control & the way it can be easily integrated - the alerts for tokens expiring give you plenty of time to avoid service disruption
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an ability to sort users into locations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make everything seamless - our users only need to remember a few passwords instead of many
Eeasy Radius Integration and Robust MacOS management
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to understand and navigate unlike most other MDM solutions such as WorkSpaceOne or JAMF. The password and bitlocker/filevault management is the most follproof and robust that I have experience thus far in my time with MDM rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Chocolatey reliance holds the solution back a bit, it would be quite nice to be able to upload your own packages into JumpCloud to deploy using internal tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest pain point was having to run Azure directory and Azure services to solve RADIUS login and user credentialing acros a variety of separate device groups. For us all of this is conveniently solved by the services offered in our JumpCloud instance. We were also able to add a second layer of security to our VPN by allowing user logins protected by 2FA thus removing a reliance on managing individual accounts from the firewall.
