Easy-peasy one stop solution for authentication
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for authentication of our windows devices at my previous workplace. Userfriendly and easy to use and set up. Additionally, this has both SSO and MFA which is an added plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeps de-syncing so you have to authenticate every 20-30 minutes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me by keeping my data secure and protected. Authentication ensures an added layer of security along with identity management. This also helps me login remotely to work.

It support multiple operating system, including ios android and window, and in jumpcloud administrators can and iplement rules for mobile devices like passcode requirements encrytion setting and app installation limit.

Using jumpcloud cloud be costly depending on the needs and the size of the organisation

with jumpcloud MDM service administator can work more easily and save guard company data while managing all of the mobile devices in the workplace. it function as a virtual and security gaurd and organiser. Companies can control which apps are allow on work devices making sure employees have what they need while keeping company data save form unapporved app.
JumpCloud: Best Identity and Access Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has variety of option including Identity and Access management, Single Sign On, Endpoint Security and Device Management. A part of above feature it has easy to use and great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is bit costly and does not provide a way to configure slack notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud solves our varioud problem including Provision and Deprovision, SSSD Configuration against Jumpcloud, MFA with third party application.

Jump cloud MDM gives holistic solution for all devices like iOS , Android, or windows. It helps a lot in real time monitoring, Administrator can monitor device actively.
What do you dislike about the product?
MDM solution charges licensing fee based on the no. of device managed. So It increase the custumer cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives one stop device control. We can manage different devices with jumpCloud MDM. Its very easy to use even a non technical person use it very easily. It reduces the precious time in managing devices.
Centralized identity management

Jumpcloud is a powerful solution for organisation looking to streamline identity and access management processes especially in multi platform environment.

Initially i found this little complex but now I am very much use to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud provide a single pane of glass for managing user identity, access and control.
Great tool with continous improvements and new releases

I really like how the team is commited to provide the best service and to always improve features!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly 0-touch on Windows compared to Azure AD but the JumpCloud team is working to improve and we already have an almost 0-touch configuration for Windows devices. On macOS the 0touch is working smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud really simplifies the MDM administartion with lots of policies templates and commands templates that allow us to quickly deploy either security configurations or software to our enpoint devices.
A great alternative to MS Entra id
What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple to use alternative to Microsoft Azure AD and I picked it up in seconds

Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
I like SSO part of jumpcloud where I can use my multiple application with signle ID & password. I dont have to remember different IDs & password for different apps.

It has been 6 months for me using Jumpcloud, I could not find any draw back till now.

Jumpcloud helping us to monitor our users and their devices which are on remote location. Very easy to deploy and updates any changes on the devices from the back end in bulk. This save a lot of time and bandwidth.
It's amazing experience to use it for MMD and cloud services.

It solve problem of Centralized Identity Management,Cross-Platform Support,Ease of Use etc. It helped me to run multiple application in parallel with remote login.

We tried other tools, but sometimes the user interfaces of other tools are a little bit difficult to understand.
What is most valuable?
The product enables device management. It is one of the reasons why we chose it. We can remotely help people. We can also do installation remotely. We needed LDAP and RADIUS server. The website is pretty straightforward. We have users, devices, and groups. It's easy to understand. It has a small learning curve. The product provides multi-factor authentication. We needed that.
What needs improvement?
We need more multi-factor authentication possibilities. I opened a ticket for it. However, it is not configurable in JumpCloud.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for half a year.
How are customer service and support?
I reported an issue. The support person contacted me. However, they didn’t come up with a solution yet. Support is not good enough.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We were using internal Linux tools before. They were pretty old. Now, we are migrating to JumpCloud.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. Many helpful tools are available on the web, and there is a lot of helpful documentation. We will need knowledge of Windows and Linux. The product can be deployed in half a year. Our plan is to deploy it completely by the end of the year.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is pretty expensive. It costs us EUR 250 per user per month. It was a point of hesitation for us. We can get premium support, too.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We also considered Okta. It is more suitable for Windows. If someone wants a tool for Windows, then Okta is pretty good. However, we want a solution for Windows and Linux. We also wanted LDAP. JumpCloud stands out in those things. Okta can do it, but not in the way that we would like it to.
What other advice do I have?
The tool can be improved. I will recommend the solution to others. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
