Great product to start and grow with

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has provided us many features that have allowed us to start out as a smaller organization and grow to our current size with minor changes and effects to the way we manage devices. The features like remote assist and the hosting of a radius server has been pivotal in our ability to function throughout the pandemic and currently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure did change recently and as a result we had to go more a la carte with our features and plan in order to get what we wanted for a price we felt was reasonable. Some features that are offered in the plan we would have been opted into were not things we would use or need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is allowing us to easily manage our users and the devices that they have access to. It has also provided us remote assist capabilities that have been vastly helpful in remote work situations.

What do you like best about the product?
After using a few different MDM platforms, JumpCloud is head a shoulders above the rest. It's ease of use and powerful, intuitive feature sets makes using JumpCloud a blast. Out internal IT team is much more efficent utilizing JumpCloud to manage our IT needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Improvements could be made on the MAC side - the admin account can unsync/force password update, if the admin account hasn't logged into the MAC for some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO to applications is huge for our user base and remote management of computers streamlines support.

What do you like best about the product?
The system gives the IT team enormous control over business devices, allowing scripts to be run on multiple devices simultaneously, saving a lot of time without the need for manual action on the device.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like there to be some more specific policies for devices, the existing ones are very good but it would be great if there were a few more options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud helped me make devices more accessible for greater control and assistance, saving me a lot of time, allowing me to run updates on devices quickly and efficiently

What do you like best about the product?
1 unified platform to manage IAM across all your endpoints. Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a 1 stop shop for a lot of compliance controls as well if they would certify to CMMC L2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have quite a few clients for whom AD doesn't make sense and Microsoft is more expensive and complicated to manage than JumpCloud.

I've found it difficult to get users setup, and Jumpcloud promised became a less helpful.

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The actual product is great. I like how (when they're configured) I am able to use jumpcloud to control systems and maintain accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just think we need a larger team. But:

1. SSO was painful to setup.
2. Phones are a nightmare to setup
3. Computers were difficult to setup because they don't support Windows Home, or MS accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents a few phones from getting locked down due to account-locks. It gives us some control of employee systems and help troubleshoot them.
